You'll have to wait some more for the movie "Bubble e Go!" / "Bubble Fiction: Boom or Bust", the DVD release date is August 17. The good news is that the DVD will have English subtitles.
An other DVD featuring Ryoko Hirosue is now also up for pre-order. It is the short movie "MAY be Happy" starring Ryoko, Erika Toda and Miki Arimura. The music is by Korean singer MAY. You may recognize the images from this short movie because they have been used in the PV for the song by MAY.
Pros and cons of the various shops: Amazon has 25% off the price for early orders but only has the expensive express delivery for international orders. YesAsia has free shipping for orders of a certain amount but the price of the goods may be higher than others. CDJapan has many shipment offers but all of those are via the Postal Service and those have a higher chance of having import duty charged on the package by the customs of your country. Your mileage may very of course and opinions may differ.

well, i think i've seen most of ryoko hirosue's drama/movies..and IMHO the way Nagasawa Masami act, talk, react to certain situation, etc (in the drama of course), seem resembles Ryoko's style.. you know for example the Kano sisters (geinojin) act exactly a like..

Does anybody think Nagasawa Masami is copying Ryoko Hirosue.. or it just me.. I'm talking about her in Proposal Daisakusen
Sort of... maybe because of her appearance.. i mean with that short hair..
Just like the young Ryoko.. Not just in that drama.. but also in
Serafuku To Kikanjyu... she somehow resemble her a bit..

I've seen most of Hirosue Ryoko's and Nagasawa Masami's drama and movie.
Yes, they resemble a bit but IMHO not to the level of copying or something like that. The hair part is maybe just a coincidence. But if you guys notice, they both looks similar when the acts to not know something or in a "hmmmm" mood. It's quite hard to explain but if you have watched enough drama, you'll notice.
But since you guys mention it, I do wonder now whether if this is the reason Nagasawa Masami has soaring fast to my no. 2, behind Ryoko Hirosue of course. Been lurking at her forum here lately.

Cool! A lot of dvds of Japanese movies being released recently have english subtitles, though they are still for region 2. I better get myself a region-free dvd player soon. _________________
Nice choice. Now, maybe you can do the same with Nagasawa Masami pic =)
I'm doing them ALL. But I do it by alpha and i'm only on "I" right now. Just drop me a line in the Artiste Database thread to remind me of which pics you'd like to see/replaced. _________________
