i was thinking of watching a takuya kimura and aya ueto drama..
any recemmendations? hehe

well, for kimura takuya u don't need any recommendation just pick it randomly for almost all of his drama was a good one.
but i do think the best of his drama are:
Beautifull life (it is a very3x emotional drama for me, many of others said it was a sad movie but i never cry..just very touching. so far the best drama i ever saw)
followed by Pride,
the others will be:
engine, good luck, and love generation... just pick the type of drama that u like the most.

as for aya ueto, i have watched my little chef, attention please, and now watching hotelier.
i recommend u attention please, the others is so so..

oh yeah?? if u read it from this site i think most of the reviews are good.
only few people gave a low point, who might be someone that can't stand aya's sillyness or maybe person that doesn't really like funny drama..
well, it is a very funny one for me.
i'm glad u'll check it out.

actually i prefer to the drama version, the movie version is good as a j-movie but the drama version even better IMO.
i just don't think that j-movie overall are interesting to watch, sometime they are a bit boring when there are so many silent scenes not like the drama that skip the unnecessary scene.

I guess i watched the movie version bcoz the main cast are two of my favourites.. but ill give the drama a go one of these days.. hehe

yeah, I've watched it, it is good.
and as for ryoko's other drama, I've watched:
- Dekichatta kekkon (actually this is the one that I enjoyed the most from all her drama)
- Makudono
- Slow dance
all of them are good IMO, and yes she is really cute..one of my fav actress

yes both are good..
well.. as for pride, I've catched from the very first ep.
starting from the first minute, the yell of their hockey team..and kimura become the team's captain and they do the yell thing.
i still remember some sentences: u sleep well yesterday....no!!! , u wanna lose today?....no!! (this is the best part)
and when the competition start, kimura spill some arrogant word to his enemy and he use such damn cool word.
there are many others... in summary kimura's characters is such damn cool here. my male friends that don't like jdrama also impressed and at the end they watch it.
i also like his chemistry with yuko takeuchi, and that makes me like it better than good luck.

umm.. Doh!

actually i was excited in the beginning just becoz its another ryoko's drama. Dekichatta kekkon is quite funny and fresh.. ryoko-chan is acting very well as chiyo, completely different from yuki in summer snow.. the pace of the story is quite fast, its a little bit too fast i think, needs a lil bit more details.. but the story itself.. ah.. hard to say.. did not find it interesting.. or maybe is it because i saw summer snow first (its superior than this one apparently :p)

anyway, i just watched the first episode, thats the first impression. im still unsure whether to carry on or not. is it gonna get better?

i still don't recommend Beautiful Life. i didn't get the chance to cry or even get this touchy feeling coz i already fell asleep before that could happen.

i'd recommend Kareinaru Ichizoku though. every cast acted really mature in that stuff

well as u say it is fresh, and i add "enjoyable", the first ep is going so fast..yes it is. but the story is just begin after that.. the later u will find out that it is very touching story.
actually i watch it few years ago, i don't remember the detail but I do remember that I was really execited when I watched it.

yes i did.. although i did find kimura's sniffing annoying and i didnt find the lead actress cute =) but overall it was pretty good..
the make-up scene on the final ep is probably one the most heartbreaking ive seen, just put u in a bad mood..

o really.. yea maybe thats just my prejudgement.. i think ill try to watch some more episodes.. well see how it goes..

but still the story is a bit too american i reckon.. having one night stand seems normal.. or maybe thats what happens in japan nowadays?hehe..

btw, i found slow dance more interesting.. for me, i put slow dance in higher rank than Dekichatta kekkon.. well its a matter of taste really.. thx for the recommendation again..^.^

yea most sad endings give you that uneasy feeling ey?

try attention please.. pretty humorous.. the joke is really comic-like..

try also summer snow Bleah my favourite.. but considering your mood.. try to watch up to episode 7.. its funny and its got some inspiring stories.. but the rest of the episodes.. umm.. well you know.. ;P
