We're talking about Little Tokyo, right? There's a number of little video stores spread around there that you might check out... But they might be rental stores only. I'm not sure...

Hey, what kinda cycle you got? I'd like to get an R1100S Replika, but that's dream city: Nut

The second week in August... Lotsa neat cultural stuff: ikebana, taiko, martial arts, parade, etc... I've pretty much attended every year for the past 15 years...

Sure ya do... Rolling eyes hehe

If there's any one event (aside from the parade) you shouldn't miss, it's the Taiko demonstrations: there's numerous Taiko groups from elementary schools up through college (UCLA, UCI, CSULA, etc.) and local JACL groups... Great stuff!

Looks like the Spring is coming. The weather has been calm lately and the sun is shining Smile
The snow is here by late April, no point in celebratin the "spring weather" in advance, hehe.

Aww! I feel very envious of Japanese ppl. They get to enjoy the Sakura soon.

So do we in washington DC. On the April 3, we will have our sakura matsuri with the forest of sakura trees that JPN gave to the city way back in the 1910's.
