3 visits to Akihabara, including 4 different maid cafe's, and many hours of anime/gravure shopping..$$$$

including, several Kyoto tours, and 1/2 day Tokyo Tour, many numerous visits to the Depachika's, many subway rides on the Marunouchi line, and Yamanote line, and elsewhere in Japan!

11 actual days, minus 1 day of travel, since the trip back, i actually gained 4 hours...i am in a daze, but going to stay up until the evening to try to balance out this jetlag if that is even possible.

nah...i couldn't handle going to work the next day, even if i am going to try to speed up my sleep rhythm....by staying up for nearly 30 hours straight.... bleh i hope it works and makes the adjustment easier...

i am taking Monday off work, i told them in advance, tempted to take Tuesday off too, i guess i will have think about it. yea, gotta show you some stuff.....saw Ryoko on a few mags, but didn't think it was worth getting since it was just a cover pix. although i did see her on some jdrama prg on japanese tv, and i took a pix of her on some billboard, and will eventually post it up. Didn't see a lot of Juri though. besides you have that photobook of her already, i did see it at Kinokuniya Shinjuku earlier today...sounds weird saying that since it is the same day, hours later. Welcome, Q! I'm dying to see your pics, but no pressure, take your time!

I know what you mean about staying away for that long. When I landed in Paris, I had to stay up 36 hours. It was murder, but keeping busy sure helped.

I'm glad you had a safe one. Victory! Peace!

i managed to stay up for 30 straight hours, and i have to say it was tough, almost dozed off during the afternoon, i am sure the coffee helped some. Then i slept for 12 hours. Still a bit groggy, jetlagged, but i should make the adjustment faster this week to the time difference. I saved all of my pix on my computer and i will sort thru some of them and begin uploading and posting some soon. I still have to go thru some of my souvenirs and write in my short journal and expand on it. I miss Japan, maybe not the rain and tropical storm, and the earthquakes( fortunately i didn't feel any while i was there, but one did hit Niigata Japan the last day i was there, far from Tokyo area), but overall it is good to be back in the states, but i want to go back to Japan for another visit next year.

hey, glad to be back.

edit: actually the earthquake hit Japan the very next morning on Monday 10:13am, i left 5:30pm on Sunday. I guess the epic center was around Niigata, Japan and it was a big one at 6.8

also, left during the typhoon/tropical storm was about to hit Tokyo area. They actually cancelled about, i'd say 25% of their flights, fortunately they were on schedule for the flight i was on.

ok, i got pictures to sort thru and i will post some shortly. Bonk
