I love Gakki's acting though. I think she's putting up a great performance. Hopefully she'll be able to make things more interesting in the later eps....if scriptwriter allows it.

May be I shouldn't be too harsh because it's just a drama, but the boardroom presentation scenario stuck out like a sore thumb. That situation would never happen in a major US corporation. What the dad (or daughter trapped inside the dad's body) said was very basic marketing research stuff that has to be done before a project can even be green-lighted for actual development.

It's easy to look past the flaws and logic gaffes when the pacing is fast w/ lots of gags (like in ep. 1-3), but once the comedy turned serious it's just difficult to ignore the shortcomings anymore. Before this ep. this was easily my most enjoyable drama in the season, w/ just the right balance between comedy and drama. Besides the numerous gags and situation comedy, I like the fact that the story never drags. The sentimental/touching scenes were not overdone to the point of being sappy and melodramtic, and the inspiration/uplifting messages were not 'preachy'. Then there's Tachi Hiroshi who did a marvelous job portraying the dad with the daughter trapped inside his body.

From the preview of ep. 5, looks like it may be returning to the style of the early episodes, which would be welcoming news.

I actually will have to agree. The dad has superb acting that's very difficult for normal actors to do. Him acting like a girl is awesome. Gakki is still great though. It's funny for her to talk like she's the dad!

I'm loving this show. Yui Aragaki is so cute! I'm disappointed it's not on next week =(

Btw, I thought ep 4 was the best so far. I hecka cracked up when...

That teacher was chasing down gakki and he was yelling "KAWAHARA!!!!!!" all over the place. Then he was like "Don't run! Don't you dare run!!" and then he starts chasing down Gakki. It's soo funny Then in the meeting room he kept stealing Gakki's cell back and fourth and then touched Gakki by accident with the music changing into some romance LOL. I haven't laughed outloud like that for a while.

Eyeyore: This was a let down? I'm usually positive and don't think any eps are let down. But ep 4 has to be the best so far

Wild fact. The school in this show is the same that was used for MBMH. LOL. Gakki's been in the same school twice now.

Anyway ep 5 is funny too - meet the parent session + otosan's photo at the prayer altar. the computers rising up from the conference table reminds me of star trek !

Not sure if you guys have found out already, but the project/subbing was dropped.

I promised myself I wasn't going to watch any drama till the subbing was finished, and bah, what do I do?... Wait every week for a new sub... Now the torture of waiting who is going to pick up the project...
