I finally got my copy of Deathly Hallows and I can't believe that it was cheaper than I expected ($18-ish). I'm currently taking a break from reading it because my eyes feel like it's straining.

I'm picking up my copy later on. So in about 3-4 hours I will be reading it.

Note: How long is it? Similar to Chamber of secrets? or more like Order of the Phoenix? I was able to read Chamber of secrets in 1 day, but took about 2 days to read OFTP, so just wondering how long is it and how long it took ya.

Thanks!

its not too bad, i think about the same length as Half-Blood Prince and i'd say the style is most like the latter half of Half-Blood Prince more so than Order or Chamber.......took me about 7 hrs to finish Half-Blood Prince and took me about 6 hrs to finish this one

definitely recommend reading it from the beginning tho cuz there are a LOT of plot details packed throughout the entire book and significant events happening everywhere.....enjoy ur reading!! Victory! Peace!

SO TRUE! That's why I've been re-reading them again. I'm now on the fourth book: Goblet of Fire. I probably won't get to the last one for another few days.

But you're right! They're full of little hints. I mean, there's stuff in books 1 and 2 that foreshadow stuff that happens in book 3. It's great! And I'm getting little hints that I know will come out in book 7. It's great re-reading them to find all the stuff I'd forgotten. Thumbsup

I finished H7 too *nod nod*
When I went to the midnight opening it was TIPPING it down!!! Grumble thankfully unlike last year they opened the shopping centre before midnight and let us wait inside... course we had to wait until midnight to get the book XD
But finished it now... I really enjoyed it and yup many surprises there... and some things I was expecting. Can't believe it's all over now!!! Shameful Cry

I just finished the 7th HP book. Really fantastic. It took me around 5 hours to finish. I am a slow reader, though, and like to go back and reread things I didn't understand. I'm sure it'll take the rest of you a shorter amount of time. Wink

Thanks for the response Smile
As for re-reading them, I don't really need to as I can remember pretty much everything, I've been part of the HP forums for a long time and have been one of the fews to discover and release info regarding J.K's hints/secrets all over the site and book hehe.

I picked it up yesterday but haven't gotten far as I decided to go today and watch transformer ahahah.

Something similar for me. The only HP book I have is an HP Laserjet printer manual. Beaten

Yup. The tech support phone numbers at the end were quite surprising. Multiple plot twist with the power cord and serial cable. A true masterpiece.

I no longer have the printer, so I'm not sure why I keep the manual. Sweat

I don't think I've read an entire manual in my life.

hehe

I rarely do that myself. A few game manuals or the do's and don'ts for expansive electronics. Ever since I had to write one, I read more of them. I know someone had to work for a few days typing crap nobody would ever read. Sweat

I finished Deathly Hallows last night. The book did not disappoint, but I wasn't too crazy about the epilogue. It only focused only on a certain group of people, but I wanted to find out what happened to the rest.
