New things, and having to learn how to use them.
(Got a new computer with a different OS, and trying to figure out how to do things that I used to do without having to think about it is driving me nuts.) _________________

I'm really irritated that I couldn't find decent CD sleeves at the 3 stores I checked at. I guess I'll have to do the online thing and wait a whole month for them. At least it's cheaper than the crap that they sell here.

I'm pretty sure that the post offices in Japan are open on Sundays too. Good for the public, but I feel sorry for the workers. _________________

it takes you a whole month for your order to arrive? wow, that's exceptional.

Ah, the OS aberration known as Vista...
I'd take my copy of XP and install it over that thing.

First time I've heard that one too. They're always closed during the weekend and never opened past 4PM on weekdays. They're always closed, when there's a funky holiday no one's ever heard of. It has to be because of HP...

I don't know if you're looking for slim case jewels, but I usually buy them at Walmart or Best buy. (Dynex) they're $30 for 50 or $40 for 100. I haven't found those anywhere else or at least not that cheap. They're either round or $1 each. _________________

Only because they're being sent by parcel post and it says that it usually takes 2-9 days for the mainland US, but for Alaska & Hawaii, it could take up to 5 weeks.

I don't really like slim jewel cases because I have so many DVDs that it would take up too much space. Plus it would bring the shipping costs up when I send dramas to people. I prefer CD sleeves where you can put 2 CDs/DVDs into one. Like this:

What kinda wacky country are you guys living in?

Really weird. I thought their union would prevent that. We have a few counters in drugstores where you can get stamps or your packages (between 5pm~9pm), but all post offices have crappy business hours. Kind of like banks. _________________

LOL, I just leave them in spindles, or if I can be bothered, go the whole hog and burn them to printable DVD's, and buy proper DVD cases and do nice covers and print something nice on the DVD. I might do one for the next lot of stuff I send you

I see. Maybe I should do that too. I've got boxes loaded with them. I've ordered form shop4tech in the past (3 or 4 years ago). No problem with them.

Oh yeah. You guys are always getting screwed. Every time there's a promotion or contest, it's always everywhere except Alaska & Hawaii. Well, at least the weather is better than Alaska. _________________

Spindles are fine, but for me, I prefer having my DVDs easily accessable rather than having to sort through my collection (my Jpop CD collection is a different story ) As for the next lot of stuff, please don't to go through the hassle of printing out anything. I'm totally fine with how you've been sending me the DVDs.

Yikes. Boxes loaded with them? I have a couple of small boxes with my Jdrama DVDs, but it's convenient because of the non-bulky sleeves (with the exception of a few jewel cases):

Yeah, it totally sucks. The worst part is when there are sites that have free shipping with the exception of AK and HI. Bastards. _________________

I get the large binder-type ones that hold 224 or whatever CDs, and they usually cost about $25. At Staples, you can get get the staples brand. Pretty durable and reliable.

I tried the spindles, but I have over 150 dramas on CDs, and it's impossible to organize them when they're in spindles. Sleeves are the best way, I've found.

I've got around 250 dramas or so, but in the early days I had to burn them to CDs. It was cheaper than $40 for a blank DVD, but bulky. No more than 2 episodes per CD. I'm waiting for the Blu-ray's price to go down and I'll reburn everything. The writer are affordable, but the discs are around $25 a piece. _________________

Our post offices aren't even open to pick up stuff on Sundays.

Same here. Our post offices are open only Saturday morning. And also only Wednesday morning.
(Normal hours rest of the week, except shut all day Sunday).

That's my favorite sleeve supplier also. Just bought 600 on a special from them a couple of months ago.
Gave up cases 2 years ago when my collection became crazy unwieldy. Keep all DVDs in 200+ capacity wallets now. I'm on my 6th wallet.
