They got crap like that here as well and in Germany too. It's scary to see so many untalented people in one place. But the hype that's made around that stuff is even more scary... You can't escape it, you turn on the TV and see it in austrian and germany. Together with those "reality" shows (stupid stuff like this "big brother" nonsense) it has taken over TV.
People are too easily entertained, or better said "tittytained". Tittytainmend, a term made up of "tits" and "entertainment", and it's not an invention by Janet Jackson *SHUDDER*

That William Hung has guts and brains. I would of done that if I had the guts. He probably sang like that on purpose. Who sings like that? No one remembers the normal or good contestants. He's cashing in now.

Doesn't PV stand for performance video? Why are all the music videos on WinMX labeled PV?

Nah, English is being more accepted in Japan now with the younger generation. Thus more and more "adopted" words are being used. And as a result, it ends up in music.

like aho said, and also it would appeal to the younger generation (who tend to spend more than the traditional older gen with discretional income) with a "cool factor". maybe insome way they do that to market (albeit slightly) overseas. also, have you noticed that most bands/groups have non-JPN names?

after waking up early and watching a few warcraft replays,i decided to start burning amrayu's cds.
as i was burning,i realised almost half of the cd-Rs i bought aren't working!

then i decided to go to Uni early so that i can go to the bank and bank in some cash [actually not 'some'.it's pretty alot]. when i arrived at the bank,it was empty.lucky day perhaps?it was then i realised that today was a public holiday in australia.
i felt insecure carrying the huge amount of money,so i went all the way home and put it in a safe place.
after the university,i went home.it was then when i started to feel my "recently-suffered-injuries-from-basketball" started resurfacing once again.
what injuries?my left ankle,my right heel and calf and my right elbow.
lucky day?guess not. but frankly,i've been through worse days before.

Guts?? Gimme a break. Running into a burning building to save people or chasing after an armed criminal takes guts... He's no better than those other fools on reality shows just trying to make a buck at all costs. Sure, he's laughing all the way to the bank, but there's no redeeming value in what he does other than to contribute to the media wastelend...
hahaha i feel better that i m not the only one thinking he doesn't really deserve so much haaha... comercialism really sux haha... maybe we should all act like idiots and go on tv... we would surely make it big hahaaha... i mean when i first watched the audition thing i kinda thought whoa wat a pityful fellow but now i think it is being blown of proportion...and i think i deserve the money more muahahahaha so that i can continue with my f@#king education hahahaha...
