Well, the thing is it's not *that* loud. Just irritating. And for some reason, a lot of locals in Hawaii tolerate stuff like that.

Well, if it's irritating, it's loud enough... And deserves a call.

My neighbor is a musician, but he's he's considerate enough to close the windows, use heavy curtains, and practice during the afternoon hours...

Now his stinkin' dog on the other hand..... Grumble

Just catching up on the skunk front.

Enna

Quote:
I thought that one of the 'cures' for removing the smells of skunks from pets was bathing them in large cans and cans of tomato juice and then rinse well. Have you ever tried that?

That's the old wives tale I grew up with.

Doesn't work. And jeez is it messy.

What kills skunk stink?

One cup Peroxide... One Table Spoon Baking Soda ... One Tea Spoon liquid dish soap. Shake till foamy.

Wipe foam on whatever stinks. (Don't let it touch the eyes!!!) Allow to dry. Dump whatever's left over. It doesn't keep.

Do not wash off!

Water actually reactivates the stink.

You can wash your dog about 3 days later. The cats take care of themselves.

ARGH!!!! My neighbors are at it with their fucking karaoke! I wish I could destroy that thing and their shittyass music collection too! .

LOL! Karaoke is fun (& funny) if you are participating, but damn annoying if you're forced to listen to it against your will Sad

I found out that the subbed version of Flowers for Algernon that I had was an unfinished version. I found the better version at D-A, but now I have to download the whole damn series and possibly fix up some of the subs if I can understand it. And find someone to burn it to disc for me. Meh. I don't know if this series is worth all the trouble. Grumble

Nah, it's not really that loud, but I have sensitive ears which is the reason why it bothers me so.

And my other neighbors had this dog that barked all the freaking time! Even at 2am. Instead of counting sheep, I counted ways to kill the little bastard. Grumble I assume that the little shit is dead because he doesn't bark anymore. Maybe my neighbors ate it. Big Grin

Not sure.

Also, I think you might need to register to access the torrents...

I can access torrents and subs without being a registered member, unless you're talking about certain ones that aren't available to the general public.

You should have confidence in your words, otherwise don't post them at all.

It's not about confidence at all. I kind of feel bad about complaining since the person was helping fans out by attempting to translate it. And judging by the updated versions, a lot of the discrepancies seem to be cleared up. I just had an early copy of it. Grumble

Too bad we all didn't live in the same area with a Jpop karaoke place because it would fun if a bunch of the us could go together. Big Grin

I think I'd beat you on the bad singing. But it's not like that would matter if we ever decided to enter the Jpop music scene. Beaten

I suggest that both of you make amends and let's not let this escalate into something that is unnecessary.
