No, it's a scholarship for graduate program. I had failed on my 2 previous attempts. Monbukagakusho scholarship opens every year so I think anyone should give it a try. They offer wide range of programs from undergraduate to post-doctoral degree. The next intake will be march 2008, so if you seriously wanna apply it's best to prepare everything as early as now.

I'm serious bout going to Japan. I have always been interested to learn more of their culture first-hand. The only thing is, I do not know where to start looking for those exchange, scholarship, etc. thing.
One of the requirements is to have good scores in exam, ne?
