Sugoi... she hasn't changed that much at all...
After two weeks, I'm FINALLY continuing Attack no. 1. I think I'm on epi 8... but I'm not sure. They're all the same. This drama gets first spot (pushing Boku blah blah Madonna) as taking me the longest to finish. I think I'm running a month here... _________________

Welcome to MY life
I still have 2 eps of Kuitan to go. Not because I don't like it, I do.... just can't find the time...
I finally finished Attack no 1. I couldn't find a thread for it, so I'll post my review here:
6/10
Attack no. 1 is almost exactly like Ace wo Nerae. The storyline is exactly the same, there are similar plot points, and both dramas share some of the actresses. Itfs like watching Ace wo Nerae all over again except with a different sport. Because of this, I found it really hard to enjoy this drama. It was painful to watch because it was so predictable and completely forgettable.
Ifm beginning to re-evaluate my opinion of Ueto Aya. I mean, I like her and I think shefs adorable, but shefs been coming in a lot of bad dramas lately and I feel she needs to take some sort of responsibility, instead of her fans squealing about how itfs the drama, not her, thatfs making the bad impression. After all, a really good actor/actress can make a really bad drama at least bearable to some degree. She failed to do so here. I found her character really annoying and frustrating to watch. I mean, Ueto has got to be the least athletic-looking actress out there, and yet this is her SECOND sport-related drama that Ifve seen. She was a little more believable as a tennis player, but a volleyball player is totally out of her league. Donft get me wrong. Shefs done great work in Attention Please and has already proven herself as a good actress. She just really needs to pick her roles carefully.
The coach of the Fujimi team also really annoyed me. His character goes through a roller-coaster without any depth or reasoning. He was too random and really ruined the gcoachh persona. Sakai Ayana was good, as was most of the supporting cast (in terms of Volleyball players), but I still found the drama hard to enjoy. It wasnft so much that it was utterly, devastatingly horrible. It was more that there was nothing exciting about it and turned out to be a manufactured plot with no soul. Unless youfre an Aya-fan and just enjoying watching her move about the screen, I donft recommend this drama at all. _________________
I finished First Kiss Ep. 2. Was gonna settle in for the night and watch Hana Kimi 3 and 4. Yes... I think that's how I will close my night out! Oh, gonna watch the last episode of Gokusen tomorrow, only because we watch that series as a group!! Proposal Daisakusen is next! _________________
I did get a laugh a while ago, while watching "Triple Kitchen". There's Yoko, once again playing a character that's all about the preservation of the traditional Japanese way of life... and it turns out her conversational English is better than mine.
For me the highlight of watching that otherwise forgettable dorama was Yoko Nogiwa's interview scene with the school selection committee. Her fluency in English as far as pronunciation, articulation, and understanding was obvious.

attention please was pretty fun....and her one episode in Tsubasa was cool....but yeah ppl have mixed reviews of her work in ace and attack, which i haven't seen...and most ppl say shimokita sundays was not good at all.
i dunno ppl seem to have a lukewarm response to Hotelier as well.

Like Toshi-kun said, I thought Attention Please was good, as was her epi in Tsubasa. Both of these are reasons why I won't bash her as an actress. _________________
