Ushi Ni Negai Wo is so under-rated.
Hontaru no Hikari: ep 1 isn't bad. I haven't watched ep2,3 yet as sub isn't available. The rating looks like free-fall.
Katagoshi no Koibito: it deserves the rating. Watched the first two ep. The story line is odd, and some of the details are just plainly bad taste. _________________

Sushi Ouji's first episode got 8% rating??O_O hontou?
Seems like this season's ratings are pretty bad. Coz, its summer vacation? Does Japanese spend more time outside than inside the house??
But maybe this seasons' dramas are kinda TOO plain, too... maybe some are good for some people. But for people who doesn't watch TV too much, this seasons' dramas' storylines might not really capture attentions. And mostly comedy, isn't it? As much as I love comedy, I miss the dark, yet artistic mystery-genre dramas. Like Sleeping Forest, Ice World, Suna no Utsuwa, Byakuyakou, etc. _________________ "Let's create a world without war together"

I think 8.8% and that could very well be because it aired in the much later time slot of 11.15 pm.
I've noticed that summer dramas tend to offer lighter, fluffier fare while those in the genre you mentioned normally screen in autumn or winter.

the AFC game between Japan and Korea happened on July 28, and it affected the ratings of Juken no Kamisama. the FNS27 charity programs were showing in Fuji TV during that time as well.
as for the July 27 timeslot:
17.0% 21:03-22:54 NTV jʃ[hV[pa40N梃pO ̃G[V
13.7% 22:00-22:54 TBS jh}RcŶ
10.9% 21:00-21:54 EX*
NTV broadcasted a Lupin special that affected the ratings of Yamada Taro and Jotei.
i tried to find the ratings for the other programs sharing the same time slot with Sushi Oji, but i havent found any data. what i found is a comparison of the first episode ratings for the dramas in that time slot for the past 2 years.
11@ŋ߂̏
*9.5@JƖ̂Ƃ (ame to tume no ato ni)
12.2@͂邩17 (haruka 17)
*9.5@MA (chakushin ari)
*9.7@x@ (jikou keisatsu)
*9.5@ĂĂ邠 (teru teru ashita)
11.8@z (kuroi taiyo)
*8.1@Aî܂ (anna san no omame)
13.4@W@mR (tokumei kakarichou tadano hitoshi 3)
12.8@Ax@ (kaette kita jikou keisatsu)
*8.8@XVq (sushi oji!)
sushi oji had the second lowest ratings for the 1st episode:(
