FFXI is going to be released soon, whos buying it? I'm thinking about buying it. I haven't been able to find info about the monthly fee. Anyone know?

I am for sure going to buy it when Summer comes along. I told myself to stay away from that game untill school is over. Final Fantasy games and College can never cooperate well . I am getting the PC version because I hear they get expansion packs, updates, and new stuff faster.

So true, I'll probably wait til summer as well..but it seems so cool I want it the first day its out!

Save your money, trust me. I played the PC version already, it's a repetetive continual grind to get to the next level. What do you do when you get to the next level? You go out and try and get to the next level. And this is coming from me - FF fan and an old EverQuest player. FFXI is just not fun after your first week. I'm waiting for FFXII. The female art is delicious! But the guy art looks a little...ummm...flamboyant. http://www.ff12.com/

FFXI has been out since last year sometime. I played it for a month and quit because it was WAY too time consuming. Countless hours of repetitive leveling. Some of the quests are insanely hard and/or annyoing. And if you happen to choose a magic user, good luck working your butt off earning money to buy your spells IN ADDITION to your regular equipment.

It seemed more like I was doing work rather than enjoying.

But then again, I have a few friends who absolutely love the game.

yeah its been out since last year... anyway same here boltar... its ok.. but it just takes WAY TOOOOO LONG to level up! ... so most of the time it feels like work.... i also stopped cuz the leveling system is insane and was wasting 2 much time on that damn game

Yeah, if you plan on playing it just be sure you know what you are getting into, seriously, it waste alot of time and money if you quit half way. But if you do decide to give it a try, I suggest you getting some other friends in, cuz for higher lvls its essential for you to get into a good group of players that you play with all the time, and then when they are not available you just spend your time making money til they can all get together to progress in lvling.

recently i got my new graphics card (radeon 9800 pro) so i have to play a lot now i recently finished unreal2, splinter cell, need for speed underground.. a lot my all time favorites are anno 1602 and diablo 2 (battlenet europe!) mfg.

i soo want to play soul calibur 2 right now. but to think that i will buy PS2 JUST for that game.....it just isn't worth it! yea,so there ARE other games to play....but the thought of new consoles like PS3 being released next year........i'm willing to wait i guess. [willing to spend too.hehe.....] plus i don't even have a TV here in Melbourne..... can't freaking afford one...[i'd rather use up my money on hobby.haha!]

Add another figure, more realistic schedule for the Japanese market. Add another, the rest of the world. No point in droolin over the console. When it comes, we'll see then. Sony's PR playin tricks, as always.

saddly i dun think any1 plays much anymore.... i dun even play much myself.. and i love this game... the only ppl in here i played with were pinky and bunnikawaii .... but beh.... sure i'll add u but i might not play for sometime sorry

I know what you mean. We never really all got together and played too. We should just play once in awhile just for kicks.

unreal 2003 has been out for a year unreal 2004 will be out in a few days u should pick it up! LUCKY i ENVY UR VIDEO CARD!!!.... i hope to make a new computer in 2 weeks!

as always dling pemus VF vids.... man u always loose in those vids... Bleah

on a side note: i'm going to E3 in may..(my first time going) any know what i can expect to be the big news this year?... i haven't kept up with v-games for a while... does any1 know when sony is expected to unveil its PS3?

We were pretty equal, I usually own them but not this time due to the unplayed games I've had. I've lost the touch on Sarah, I played very weak on her Sad

I have improved playin on Aoi and Brad. I reversed/parried nearly half of my friends attacks! Gotta love Aoi! *Aoi with a short blonde wig* Pretty successful ratio Naughty

Need to improve Goh, Vanessa and Sarah too. If I don't, they end up like Sarah Sad

Expect the vids out sometime in April/May.
