I went to check my mailbox when I got there, and I ALREADY have an SIS notice. It's when the school receives problematic students and they send out SIS notes to inform the teachers of those students about that particular student. Looks like I've caught me one. Sweat

I've spent the past 2 days out on the road, filling in for one of our guys who is sick (hence no JDorama visits Sad )

On a brighter note, it did mean an extra 45 minutes in bed Smile and home an hopur earlier.

I didn't think it possible but I've discovered that jury duty is worse than work... Especially at $15/day.

So, I call this customer and ask, "You're having trouble with your DSL?"
    Customer, "What's that?"
I really wanted to say, "Uh, you need to call our OTHER tech support line 1-800-MORON"

I had to spend most of today on our stand at a trade exhibition. Mostly very boring, although chatting with our American supplier reps who were also on the stand was fun Smile

Just got home (it's 7:15pm now) after the first day back. I ended up losing all my prep time and lunch to supervisions, which blows because I didn't get a chance to even sit down.

My courses are alright. I have 29 kids in my grade 9 English, 22 in my MYP Media, and 25 in my Film & Video.

What I don't get is that I failed a kid last year with 10% (he actually had 1% but I decided to bounce him up) and he's decided to take my class AGAIN. Shake Head

His mum called me but I was out of the office (prolly doing supervision bleh). She prolly asked for him to be put into my class since I gave him a lot of chances last year. I really hope he pulls it together. He's already 18, and if he continues to fail, he'll be kicked out. He didn't even show up today. Shake Head
