Have I mentioned this before? That I got my Nodame bag (finally)? XD I use it in school when we don't have much load for the day (and all I need to bring is a clearbook and a few other small stuff) so that I won't ruin it by stuffing it too much. Even my classmates who aren't into Nodame (or rather, not into Asian dramas at all) found the bag charming. On the first day I used it, friends came up to me and make small talk while pretending to play on the 'piano keys'.

Uh, what material is your bag? canvas? leather? plastic?
If I bought it for my niece, wonder if she'll use it?

Hmm. Well, chances are, she'll think the bag is too precious to use so she might just keep it as display rather than show it off... but on the other hand, didn't you mention that she absolutely adored Nodame? So, I think she will use it, although not to the extent that she'll wear it out at once. A Nodame bag is much too precious to wear out. _________________

It's up to her how she uses it, so I'll rely on her maturity.
Canvas, ne? That would be the best material for a bag, I believe.... Though I didn't see a canvas one up for sale on eBay.
