Yamada Taro Monogatari

Watched the first episode applause to the kids who played as Nino's siblings. They really touched my heart. I never read the manga, so I cant compare this drama with the manga (luckily). In my point of view: Sho (especially), Nino, Mikako Tabe and the kids did a great job.

Did Takako's imagination got too much, that it gets boring for some audience? xD But I love those imaginations all the same though I like Mimura Takuya's character development^^ The Jiro(1st otouto) plot, wasn't as touching as Itsuko's(2nd imouto). The maid plot wasn't as hillarious as I thought, either. I don't get what's the point of Takuya's grandfather in giving Taro the 3 tasks?? >_< They better start off Takuya's love story, bring in Taro's father, and/or bring in Takuya's older sisters soon, to develop the story fast and enticing. It seems the next episode will have more focus on Takuya, yay^^

Btw, is there any news yet, who gonna play Mimura Takuya's 2 older sisters?^^ It would be nice to have actresses on par with Matsushima Nanako to guest in this drama to play those roles, heehee... Love those sisters in the manga! Reminds me of Cinderella's step sisters^^

It was still funny at points.....but I think i'm pleased with something

I thought it was ok too. Especially MimuTaku .. Sho's getting into character is so... . Stiff in the beginning... well still stiff but I DON'T CARE, refuse to care actually .
Takako imagination cracks me up. She kinda reminds me of Yamaguchi Tomoko in that traditional Japanese princess attire...
The crack is marvelous. I never knew flower arrangement is so essential in the upbringing of well bred Japanese men. Highway to Hell by AC/DC..

Lets hope this drama remains fun and enjoyable all the way through.

I like Sho as an actor because of his Kisarazu Cats Eye drama.

Nino is making up for his Stand Up performance. I didn't find him all great during eps 1-6 but ya......

Sho playing himself as Bambii in KCE imho but its definitely the best character he has ever played. Takemoto in Honey & Clover was good too but I can't rub off the fact that he was kinda... in Yoiko Mikata. That was

As for Nino in Stand Up, I love Shohei all the way. I don't think episode 1-6 sucked because of him. Its just the lame story which eventually gets much better afterwards.

nino looks like popeye's wife - olive my favourite part - when takuya's grandfather said that "You've certainly found a good girlfriend" and its funny to see nino running with the maid suit just after he finishes his task...so cute

and sho's smile is killing every single girl whos watching this episode *hides from ainangst*

i like this show, even though it started off bad. the quality is actually pretty decent.

strange, having 7 children, four of them are about the same age. okay, they are too poor to buy a condom, but hell, that's like getting pregnant right after giving birth . it's fiction anyway

Another extremely cute story from a popular manga. Firstly I thought that Nino absolutely do not suit to this role of a handsome "prince" because he is more the guy next door and roles like in "STAND UP!!" suits him more. Still he proved again what an AWESOME actor he is ( I have to say that he is one of the best actors in Johnnys Ent. FOR SURE!) and played this role very good. Sho suits perfectly to this role, I mean, he IS good-looking and it seems like he improved his acting skills a lot. All in all its a totally cute jdorama BUT when you compare it to similar jdoramas like Hana Yori no Dango..well then I have to say that Yamada Tarou Monogatari is MUCH weaker (especially the settings are not as good as in Hana Yori no Dango). Nevertheless, great actors like Nino or Sho are worth to watch it. ^^

The show is actually very good. But some how it's little bit mushy and quite unrealistic in some cases. And like monta said, the show has already been subbed by Stormy fansub and is currently available in d-addicts.

Anyway, has anyone finished watching this drama? So far I've completed 8 espisodes and really dying to know the ending. I can't wait anymore. Anyone please give me the spoiler, onegaishimasu
