I don't know...Extinction's haven't reached my country yet...but there's some torrent files that read "RESIDENT EVIL EXTINCTION 2007 DVDRIP"
and it's 1GB in size...so I think it should be the movie.
hmm, sounds like a fake to me. especially as "DVD rip"
After all it wasnLt even shown in any cinema at all. So a screener, and especially a DVD rip, canLt be out yet.
I agree about SH 4. The part that the monster couldnLt be killed was super-annoying

i'll give it a shot with the Minimum settings.. let's see whats the result.
I know someone who tried it on a P4 3.4GHz, 1GB ram with a Geforce 7950 GT (512mb). The game can't run at higher settings than medium. It just reboots the PC.
There was a comparative feature on Gamespot with high, medium and low settings. With low settings, you're missing more than half the stuff. _________________

I have high hopes for Silent Hill 5. The 3 was good but by far not as good as 1 and 2. 4 sucked. DidnLt even played it through. A friend said it became better later though.
Seems we both have quite different tastes Freefall. I really enjoyed silent hill 4. It was more fun to me than the others. The room aspect was cool and trying to save your next door neighbor is really interesting. Silent Hill 2 I like just as much. It might be the best Silent Hill. And 3 I think is the worst. The ending areas were hugely disappointing in that game, since I've played every single silent hill game.

Well, not That different. After all we both like thse same girls and any games, too
Silent Hill 1 and 2 are the best ones. 2 even better, ILd say. The idea of 3 was good but I didnLt like how the game felt. 3 was nice but more a action Silent Hill. Lacked in atmosphere...

The Resident Evil movies were nothing like the games. The second one at least had teh characters like in the games and some stuff but the movie itself was mega-bad
my only problem with the second Resident Evil movies was they made milla look better than the characters in the game especially nemesis....... she him with her bare hands!!!!!!! impossible!!!!! plus they picked the wrong acter for carlos.... _________________

lol, well there are some good games that are better played on the pc. like cs which is fun online. but yeah i only played 1.5 when it was out and 1.6, source lags when i play on my pc.
about proving ground, i've never played it. they look the same every year the come out with new tony hawk games. and it doesn't even look real anymore since you can do like 48329042 tricks in 1 combo which is impossible in real life, as in skate its more realistic, as in when you try to grind you really have to align your board to do the exact trick you wanna show. just my 2 cents
edit: btw, i need to know, will my ps3 look like the graphic they show on gameplays without the hdtv since i clearly don't have a HD tv, will it look like the ps2 or just exactly like ps3.

I don't know about the PS3, but I have a 360, so it should be the same. You can configure it for your TV or PC monitor without problems. The graphics won't look ugly or old. It's just instead of being widescreen, it'll be square.
It's like playing at a lower resolution on the PC. Standard TV is like playing in 640x480 but interlace at 30fps. (one frame it shows odd lines, the next even). Sometimes the text is hard to read and objects at a distance gets fuzzy. (Bad for FPS). For HDTV, the games are almost all in 1280~720 at 60fps and are not interlaced. It's like on a computer screen. Much, much better.

You don't have to buy a new TV now. A lot of games are great, even on a regular TV. Although to really enjoy it, HD is the best. I'd wait till after Christmas or wait until the price goes down. They're still more expansive than in the US, even if Canadian dollar is higher.
Until the warehouses gets new stuff, will pay $500 more for the same thing. If you're near the boarder, I'd suggest buying it in the US.
