It's not a Christmas-related drama per se, but it takes place on location in a snow-filled environment in northern japan. Yasahii Jikan ~ it's an excellent drama.

by the way, for future reference ask in the Jdrama recommendations thread, not here.

finished Yamada Tarou Monogatari

no scores. i'm totally biased with the casts (look at those smiles) ashamed hehe

it was okay, nothing special. the acting wasn't stellar, but it wasn't bad either. one thing for sure, it is funny. the dorama started off really bad, i thought the first episode was really boring. but after the second episode the characters somehow grows on you and makes you wanna know what happens next. what's surprising is that the characters that i thought were annoying becomes less and less annoying as episodes go. still stupid though

There's also Manatsu no Merry Christmas. Other than the title, it's ot really "Christmasy" AFAIK.

Oh yeah, and to get on topic, after not being able to watch Iguana because of a bad burn and Tsubasa because of bad subs, I think I'll watch Fushin no Toki next. Hope that one's good.

The drama itself is. The turned the casting on its head: Ryoko plays the wife, Yukie Matushita the "other women" Ken Ishiguro good as usual. Victory! Peace!

Iguana in its entirety is available at aznv.tv...you'll have to register & d/load winamp (if you don't have it already), but other than that, it's free!

Yea I know, wasn't meaning too steer too far away from the conversation, guess it was more of an off-hand comment that happened to get a response that I couldn't help pointing out. Bleah

But can it be downloaded? Reason is because I want to make it into a DVD instead of watching it on the computer.

Papa to Musume no Nanokakan. Plot not new, IIRC I first saw something like that back in 1984, probably starring Bette Midler. Sweat

After 2 eps, not bad so far.
