Keep me updated. A lot of people didn't like it, but I don't know if it's because they're 14 years old or just because it sucks. It looks interesting. _________________

eeeh... who? i thought only Minami was from tokusatsu. (<- i like him too)
Oh you're gonna love this, I went through the cast list and here's what I came up with:
- Hiro Mizushima (Tendo Souji / Kamen Rider Kabuto in "Kamen Rider Kabuto") plays Nanba Minami, the 2nd Dorm Leader, in what I feel was a breakout performance for him to be honest, since he did get a lot of post-show attention.
- Yuusuke Yamamoto (Tsurugi Kamishiro / Kamen Rider Sasword in "Kamen Rider Kabuto") plays Kayashima Taiki, the "Ghost & Aura Sensor" guy who equally had some scene-stealing moments (not to mention his radar-like pose with his hands, hehe.
- Mitsuomi Takahashi (Satorou Akashi / BoukenRed in "GoGo Sentai Boukenger") played Daikokucho Mitsuomi, Tennoji's right-hand man and target to probably the biggest attacks from the 1st Dorm Leader.
- Igarashi Shunji (Mirai Hibino / Ultraman Mebius in "Ultraman Mebius") played Noe Shinji in a role that...well honestly, this one slipped past me, I don't remember too well what he did. But I do remember seeing him in the show, it was just a smaller part!
Yea, so when I first started watching the show, it definitely blew my mind away that all of these guys had been in Tokusatsu, not to mention 3 of the above-mentioned 4 were only in last year's shows. Go figure that I end up watching Water Boys 2005, which featured Mitsuomi Takahashi as an uber geek with coke bottle glasses and all.

Up next is... Enka no Joou. I won't start it until tomorrow, tho.
Be prepared to have your socks knocked off...Yuki Amami is stunning in this... when I was finished, I went looking for anything else I could find of her work, which of course meant finding The Queen's Classroom...
but anywho, enjoy Enka..and yes, that is her singing...you really should google her..she had an amazing career before she got into dorama... _________________
Re: Enka no Joou--I know a number of people have posted very positive comments about this series.
For me, I found it to be a terrible mess and a huge disappointment. I believe Yuki Amami is one of the two or three best leading actresses currently working in dorama, but even she couldn't salvage this dreck. And the fact that I like listening to enka only compounded my disappointment.
Just finished re-watching Ohsama no Resutoran. Superb.
wuhuuu... thx btw. yeah, i'm so watchin' Kamen Rider Kabuto!! i was told it was one of the good kamen riders (at least better than that awful Hibiki crap, god i regret renting that one). A couple of Kamen Rider's has become popular dorama actors huh?? Tamayama Tetsuji and Odagiri Joe for example. I don't really recognize Sentai or Ultraman casts though. and two of the casts are from that dreadful Prince of Tennis.
anyway, i'm on episode 6. i like it. it's really funny.

Everything about Kabuto is awesome, Hiro plays the arrogant lead and Yuusuke plays a spoiled rich kid that wasn't told that his family lost their riches long ago. I highly recommend it if you've got the time, the storyline does flow smoothly (much moreso than the currently airing series, Den-O, I feel).
Hiro also had a minor roles in Gokusen 2 and in Brother Beat as a friend of Riku's who talks him into working at a host club. It took this series to get him the proper attention he deserved.
Yusuke has been very busy since Kabuto, starring in 4 series leading up to Hana Kimi; you'll be seeing him next in Iryu 2 as a minor role in episodes 2 and 3, so he's definitely sticking to some gold series consecutively.
Mitsuomi actually debuted in Water Boys 2005 (which is hilarious, because his geek role made me laugh, especially with his facial expressions). If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend his stint in Boukenger, as while he played a serious character, he had some of those laugh out loud moments (if anything, at least watch Task 27!).
Shunji apparantly appeared in the first episode of Hana Yori Dango (going off D-Addict's wiki page), so I'm guessing it was one of the people who was assisting in the red cards...I can't remember. Again, he really didn't stick out, so we'll see.
Going to be watching both the first episodes of Dream Again and Utahime tonight, seeing that both had their first episode subs released. I'm really anticipating the subs for Iryu 2 coming out soon though, me wants unrealistic heroic doctor drama!
Notes to Senpai: Okay, this epi was MUCH better and I think... if hte show conitnues this way, that i'll enjoy it. The lead actress, Yuki-san, is VERY charming and she has this honest attraction that makes you want to watch her actions. I'm not too keen on the other cast members, but we'll see. _________________
