Your question is my question.....I can't even imagine that getting airplay in some countries....

The technical term for that is "vurp" comes from the Latin: vomit/burp

I finished Konna Koi no Hanashi

http://www.jdorama.com/drama.221.htm

the other day, and I have to admit, I loved it.

I say admit because the thing is a soap opera. A sad bit of melo-drama. And normally I just hate this sort of thing.

You know, the handsome young business man is given just 6 months to live at the beginning of the show. Will he find love with the poor innocent shop girl? Will he learn the value of love and friendship from the poor, but salt of the earth workers with whom he starts to associate?

Will it all work out?????

Well, I guess it can, if you put together a good enough cast.

The writing here gets no prizes. But the cast members, even down to Matsushima Nanako (she of the Shishido Jo cheeks) made me really want to know how it would all turn out. And that's as good as it gets for a soap.

After something like that, I had to go to Aijou Ippon as a follow up. Something light, something fluffy.

I figured, if nothing else, Shaku Yumiko is in it, so I'd have someone pretty to look at. But I've seen two episodes now, and the young star of the show, Matsuuka Aya is really impressing me so far.

I just finished Tsubasa no Oreta Tenshi-tachi 1 and 2. Maybe it's because I'm just cynical these days and have been in a bad mood, but these dramas didn't do a thing for me. Sure, there were a few nice episodes that brought a tear to my eye, but for the most part, I wasn't touched and I think that this series is overrated. On another note, yay! My Sano Shiro was looking pretty spiffy in the last episode of vol. 2. Big Grin

I'm moving on to Himitsu no Hanazono next.

I just finished Yamada Taro Monogatari. it's a good drama. by the way, I noticed that the girl who played Ikegami Takako was starred in Shakalabbits' PV entitled Silk. it seemed that this was her first drama, wasn't it?

* she's cute. Mr Green

To be honese the stories themselves appeared a bit too cliche to me too. I just concentrate on the performances, especially my favourite's - Juri-sama. In love

Correction, in the other seven girls' stories.

I liked both seasons, tho I liked the first season better than the second. I don't remember right now why I did, but I do remember feeling something or other... Sweat

so far...

WVfJI (Joshi Deka!)
} (Hataraki Man)
KI (Galileo)
h[AQC (Dream Again)
bvK[ (Mop Girl)
\V}} (Abarenbo Mama)
n^`̗l (Hatachi no Koibito)

Yukan Club and the other ones were just too boring/cheesy.

From what I've heard they're good.

Well, summer dramas usually aren't as good as fall dramas. I'm still watching stuff from 2006, if not 2003 or so.
