Off course! I have read and watched some of the things where she has been acting as a primadonna. I just think that we probably wil see a different Erika in the future. It must shurley wake her up, all the critisism she has got latlely.
Not as it is important for me, but I think she has been pounded on enough now. And as I said, the girl is 21 years old Let us see if in the future she wil be more humble.
But off course it is up to anyone to make up their own minds.
Yup! Hopefully she'll grow out of this phase. Of course, she'll probably get worse before she gets better, but there's always light at the end of the tunnel.

gomen ne minna i'm kinda lost here whta did erika exactly do on the day of the premiere that made alot of people hate her so much??
People don't hate her. They're just disappointed. I believe someone posted a clip of the premiere a few pages back. Check it out to get the answers. _________________

That's debatable.
Being an artistes is a full-time job. If they are good singers/actors etc. they get better paid (in monetary terms and popularity). Promotion activities are part of the job and that's why I personally dislike Sawascary - by her actions she was not only not doing her job, but she disrespected the people who pay her, both in actual currency (buying her CDs and what not) and loyalty. I'd rather she was a so-so actress and tone-deaf, but always give her best, than a talented snob who thinks she deserve more than she's getting.
I don't hate her, yet. But she's making it easier for me to.

its kinda sad how people just judge her on how she behaved that day on the premiere ... i know that some of it was her fault as she shouldnt have let her "bad-day" attitude to the premier but at the same time .. she's still a human, we all have our "pissed" and "crappy" day ~~
I still don't mind her no matter what happend at that premiere~
I judge her also on her crappy wig and ugly dress, you know the important things....her saber tooth doesn't help either.
I don't hate her, yet. But she's making it easier for me to.
Yea, I try to avoid this thread because I have no problem being indifferent. I'd rather not waste my time getting annoyed by someone acting like a spoiled brat. _________________

We already have a club where we got a voodoo doll and stuck pins in her extra tooth.

I had refrained from posting in this thread as I had nothing positive to contribute. However when you responded with the 'people don't hate her' I feel obliged to point out that if people did, she asked for it. I was also trying to tell her fans not to make things worse for her by justifying her actions in their off-handed ways.
If she put this thing behind her and clean up her act, the world (or at least the Japanese entertainment world) gains a magnificient and cute actress; if not, she's just be another spoiled brat on her way down the drain.
P.S. 'Sawascary' was coined by someone from the Nagasawa Masami camp. I had 'Sawash*ty' in mind but thought it might be a tad provoking.
the only thing i like about her is her singles. i dunno about vocal skills but her voice is one of a kind. and she's got a good song-writer looking at the singles that she's released. (does she write her own songs? though i doubt she does)
What bugs me right now is that she's starting to do an i don't just lip sync but i play the guitar too kind of thing. she's doing a YUI thing i guess. with all those pictures of her with a guitar. it just makes her looks weird because of what she wears in the pics. just doesn't fit the guitar image thing.
oh well, maybe she has future plans with her sabertooth; like using it for a guitar pick
but i have to say, her new song is good. she has a good song-writer and a good director to do her new PV. . you guys should check it out.

That's what I was trying to do as well. In all honesty I would really like to believe that no one hates her, and that it's disappointment that stems from reactions to her actions that's taken the next level. "Hate" is a really strong word that is hard to apply to someone you don't know in person.
Mind you, I don't hate. It goes against my morals, so I'm just speaking from my own perspective.

Provoking fanboys is fun tho...

I never realized it, but you're absolutely right. You can't dress like Koda Kumi and play acoustic guitar.
So true! It's amazing how we associate images in such parallel forms. _________________

Actress and singer Erika Sawajiri has received a special invitation to the Led Zeppelin reunion concert in London, which was originally scheduled for the 26th of this month but has been postponed until December 10
Sawajiri is a huge fan of the legendary band. In her profile on her official artist website, Led Zeppelin is the only artist listed as her musical influence. But with tens of millions of fans around the world entering the lottery for the concert's 20,000 tickets, her chances of seeing them in concert looked slim.
However, Led Zeppelin's record company in Japan was looking to promote the band among the younger generations, so they decided to invite a celebrity with a lot of influence among young people. Based on her popularity and her love of the band, Sawajiri was selected. She instantly accepted the offer, saying it was a "dream come true."
