Of this season's dramas I already have the Iryu 2 and Galileo OSTs in the shopping cart. No one has posted a link to Juken which makes me wonder if it was the music, or the drama that made it seemingly unpopular.

cool!

LOL, it's the dorama. i'm actually thinking of dropping it. until episode two, i still think it's a Jyoou no Kyoushitsu but less the fun

episode 2 of Juken no Kamisama

hhmm... this is a softcore version of Jyoou no Kyoushitsu

do the japanese really study like this? coz he's a 4th grade elementary school student and he studies until 3 o'clock in the morning! that's some serious sh*t!
This is actually closer to Dragon Zakura. I pointed out in the Juken thread people who've gone thru similar cut-throat educational systems such as in Hong Kong or Taiwan will relate more to this drama than others, and that's why it'd garnered more positive reviews in HK's, Taiwan's, and Japan's bbs's in general.

Much of the series takes place at a fish cannery; also one of the principal characters is always trying to invent new mackerel dishes in order to keep the company from closing down.

Coach is a really entertaining series from the 90's with a topnotch cast headed by Geezer's favorite leading lady, Atsuko Asano.

The setting is located at Musha Torrance... Unbeknownst to us, they were filming during the saba torching.

Yes she is!!! Which why I don't understand why some people say she always plays the same goody-two shoes role, they've never seen Chursan or Shin Hoshi no Kinka 3

The people who say those things need more exposure. I've seen her in quite a few dramas now and she's not always the sweet, goody-two shoes character...

I think I'll enjoy her performance quite a bit in Churasan. She already makes me quiver when she's on screen. hehe

hehe

I managed to do ALL my planning/marking during my prep yesterday, so when I went home, I neglected all my household duties and watched Churasan. On average tho, I usually watch 4-6 episodes a day, which is equal to 1-1.5 hours a day.

On Topic: Episode 77 of Churasan. I LUFF Oba. Smitten

I've been fighting a cold (fortunately not pneumonia) and there is nothing more relaxing than lying down and watching Churasan for a couple of hours. Victory! Peace!
