FINALLY got to finish Engine last night, despite a very crappy encode on the DVD I did
I really enjoyed this one. It was my first KimuTaku drama, and I was a bit worried that I would be disappointed, but he was great. So was Koyuki, Ueno Juri, and all the rest, especially the kids Nice to see Takashima Reiko in there too, who I first saw in Kekkon Dekinai Otoko
YAY! I'm glad you liked it. Takashima Reiko is a grand actress, and I particularily liked her in Hakei, Chichue-sama. _________________

I finished tinally Tentai Kanzoku. It was an ok drama, but it was over-hyped. Maybe I'm into faster-paced dramas, but I was really struggling through it. Don't get me wrong, I did like it, but not enough to recommend or to watch again.
That said, I thought the performances by the actors in this drama were really great. Konishi Manami (Yuri) and Tabata Tomoko (Satomi), especially, as they were wonderful at expressing their characters' pain and struggles with their relationships.
So after this drama, I thought I'd watch a drama with a faster pace and more on the humorous side. That's why I'm re-watching Love Generation. I've only got 4 episodes on DVD (slooooowly working on the others), so I hope I don't get too hooked on it. _________________

yeah. Love gen.... is on my favorites shelf to be rewatched periodically. KimuTaku and Takako Matsu are so great in this..... a perfect drama for those of us who enjoy romance and comedy by two of the most enjoyable actors on the Japanese screen.

actually, I like Konishi in Hito ni Yasashiku. She looks more cute and relax in that drama. Suprise me when I saw she act as an evil in Shin Hoshi no Kinka

I too thought he did a good job in Engine. I'm not being sarcastic, but the role of the shallow and full-of-himself Jiro fit him like a glove. _________________

It's been 5+ years since I saw this drama and I'm finding that it doesn't get tired or old at all. I'm so glad that I'm able to watch it again.

The first Konishi drama I ever saw was Churasan and she was a bitch in that one, so my first impression of her wasn't too great. Even when watching her in Hotman, I still couldn't get over her character in the other drama, but with this drama (and something else that I can't remember), my opinion is slowly changing.
With that, I'm thinking of watching episode 3 tonight if I can pull myself away from the computer. _________________

All right!
I fast forwarded through the second half of "Vampire Host" last night, and thanks to Brother Beemer I get to go back to watching "Haken no Hinkaku" tonight. _________________

It's not the spelling as such. They go out of sync in the last 10 minutes or so it's something you can't check for unless you watch the whole thing Hope fully the rest will be OK.
