Last ep quite nice. wonder wat happen to the rating.. last ep became the lowest rating for the whole series.
But when the ep is in the climax, its so funny!!! poor kaoru, luckily she dun have heart failure. =D

i like the way dey ended it a lot!!! yukawa-sensei~~~
I'll definitely miss tis show. gonna get their vcd when the shop release it. =)

Some questions and observations on the finale:

How did the old guy get that big contraption into Yukawa's lab all by himself? They didn't seem to mention that the detonator would be triggered if any of the restraints was breached. Those restraints looked like flimsy aluminum strips to me , and most of them didn't even look like they're properly restraining Utsumi. I'd have thought they could call some one over and at least set her free while Yukawa was defusing the bomb. Yukawa didn't even have an electric screwdriver in his lab? And what was he doing typing in a bunch of fopen's and fprintf's? What does printing to a file have to do with defusing a bomb? The final part about cutting the wire is almost a carbon copy of Detective Conan's first movie, thus the reference to 'should have watched more anime' I guess. And finally, the perennial favorite score for bomb-defusing scenes; 4th movement of Beethoven's 9th.

Bottom line, it feels rushed and not a lot of attention was paid to the details.

how do kijima took that strange, big, and foolish looked machine in there? the episode's title making me wish for at least a little romance, such a big lie, but hence, any romance between them would be even weirder..

the rating's 19.6 i think. And conan SP 2 aired in the exact time with 11sumthin rating.

really love this show! after so many years of detaching from Japanese dramas.... (the last one I watched was back in 2001) this's the first drama I watched, and I must say it got me back on track, and i am now all into jdorama again!

though, it kinda remind me of one US drama called Numbers.

And i always thought the part where fukuyama scribbles some formulas before he cracked the answer was kinda lame... cos it seemed to have no relation to the cases at all...

computering part is one of the stages to defuse the bomb. becoz dey're connected to the red mercury. As u see, those metal strips which restrained kaoru are connected to the red mercury, if dey wanna help kaoru out by breaking those strips, the bomb will explode.

I will admit sometimes the whole 'scribble' moment just made absolutely no sense, especially when there doesn't seem to be any kind of logical physics sense to do it:

Like when in Episode 8 he realizes the truth behind the murder, and his reasoning was discovering the static being due to hairspray and the windows fogging.

I'd just love to see if any of those equations made any sense, or if he was just making something up as he was going along.

but most clearly is ep3, F=MA , a=dx/dt.. dey're jus finding the gradient..

i din realise the weird parts until you all sae. like how the mad scientist get in the lab, how he bring in the big red mercury thing. haha! now u said it, i will minus some marks from it. and i also expected some lovey scenes for the last epi because of the title! omg! i got tricked too! but the ending wasnt v ending. jus another start.. it seems

finished watching this the other day....Masaharu and Kou had good chemistry together. Took me a few episodes to "get into it" but it was entertaining, light comedy with a bit of suspense and intrigue.

they look just perfect and i love the last part when Kou hug him. his face is soo funny..
i've never know that Kou can sing until i saw the making of Galelio. Masaharu composition is also good and fit with Kou voice.

Kou actually has a really good voice..one of the VERY few Japanese actresses who does. You should listen to her voice in the movie Yomigaeri starring Yuko Takeuchi and Tsuyoshi Kusanagi....it's great.

Obviously you can also listen to her albums too.
