Like A-Oyaji said, Eternal Sonata has an amazing plot, but I would recommend Oblivion as well (like Kit-kun).

Well, they've released a new generation console (falcon) that has a small chip and therefore has little problems. Those who about Xbox before August (I think) have the older generation with the large chip. Always check the box to make sure you're getting the latest console! _________________

The only reason I didn't pick up Eternal Sonata is because I've never been able to complete a Japanese RPG . They're just too linear for me...I grew up on open ending American RPGs. I still haven't finished Final Fantasy X . I'll probably make another attempt. I did recommend Mass Effect, because even though it's open ended, it's more similar to Japanese rpgs in some respects. |
Ahhhh true say. I think I'm actually close to finishing Eternal Sonata. I might be on the last or second last chapter. >>getting nervous<< _________________

Yup, tho I've just looked into it and found there's more play after you beat the main boss. _________________

It's been appearing in ads on this site. Looks graphically good, but it's a 1G+ download |
Well, this game seems OK sofar. Your typical Recieve Quest / beat up monster/ level up/ get reward/ get new quest RPG. The characters look OK, even on my graphically-challenged lappy. I'm withholding judgement on the level design until i've seen a few more...I'm betting it will be free until they get heaps of players hooked, then they will bring in a "Premium" area.

They sent me a whole new system to replace mine so I'm crossing my fingers. I took a look at Eternal Sonata and it's about Chopin in a mgaical world. Do I get to kill anything?

There's a LOT of killing, actually. That's how you get levelled up. I'm on level 61 for most of my characters.
Have you ever played Fable? The look of the game is a lot like that, but the story is AMAZING. _________________

I haven't seen an RPG that doesn't have a lot of killing...
I heard that Fable wasn't as good as the hype?

the drifting is kind of hard to get used to. |
thats what im talking about.. in the past NFS games.. you can use the left and right analog stick to control smoothly the drift.. but now.. youre focus only to the accelerate button and brake.. it's kinda hard.. _________________
