I don't really like Kassy's spiked up do as much as his hairstyle in Big Wing or Ittazura na Kiss. Has anyone seen his CM for Toyota on Youtube with the French (i guess) girl? Too cute!

I suppose his looks are not typical Japanese, but what's up with Japanese guys nowadays? They all have coloured/bleached hair and they PLUCK their eyebrows!!!! Just look at the guys (can I even call them guys?) in Johnny's Entertainment.

haha! I loved his look in Big Wing too! After so many dramas I have watched so far (not only jdoramas, but dramas all over asia), I thought that's the most handsome male lead I ever saw. My dreamed BF material.

oh! yes! I saw the advert... haha soooo cute... and it makes me want to buy a Toyota car (only if it will come with a chauffer that looks like that).

talking about Japanese guys... just today I met up with a Japanese friend, and we just happened to discuss this topic. She told me the Johnny's Entertainment guys are very good looking, many girls in Japan like such looks.

She hasn't even heard of Kassy until I force her to watch Love Letter... n she did not watch Itazura before also. Okay... the thing is, she mentioned to me, his looks are not really typical Japanese look, not usually what the Japanese girls will like...

oh well..... that pretty much explained why his career never really took off to a higher level, despite the good looks n good acting.... only people in other parts of asia know how to appreciate him.

haha.... wooohh... i will be so happy if he can be up on that featured artists list... but u see, it has now 80 artists, will the mod allow 81 artists or what are they going to do? remove someone and put him in? haha... i don't know.... we must be very persuasive in order to 'force' the mod to put him in.

I showed one of my friend the list yesterday, though she is not a kassy fan, she was shock that he was missing in that list.

anyway .. out of curiosity anyone heard of the phrase (i think should be from the chinese's media, is it?) used to describe him? they used to call him the "��纪���ō@�꘢�����j�h literally translated as "the most beautiful guy from the end of the last century" .... because he came into the scene just before the end of 20th century... my friend actually stupidly joked that his career also end as the 20th century came to an end.

yep... the phrase apparently i saw it on Baidu forum... you can try googling "��纪���ō@�꘢�����j" or "���{�ō@�꘢���j" , you will see what you will get. haha... i really have a great laugh when i first saw the phrase... it is a bit tooo...tooo...over the top. haha, I think kassy himself would have laugh about it too. haha

it is chinese characters, not japanese kanji. so no romanji. because the phrase was given by the china media or the chinese fans... i think.

I was searching for his pictures and news some time last year, and came across that on a few of his chinese's fanlisting sites. And while chatting with a chinese fren (not a fan) recently, she mentioned that again. So i think apparently it (that phrase used to describe him) was quite well-known (at least among the j doramas fans in china)...

it is kinda weird that the j doramas fans in china and other parts of asia and anywhere are more familiar with him than the people in japan...
