Oi. Well, since it's the weekend, I could possibly finish one in the next two days. So mebbe I WILL watch Bewitched first. And then Odoru. This way I'll be able read Cori's review of Odoru if she finishes before I start.
Wynter <--- been wanting to watch Ryoko-san in a drama again anyways, since watching Gun Crazy. _________________

Yup, seen it! That, Sekei Bijin, Love Revolution, Pretty Girls, and Gun Crazy are the ones I've seen her in, and all have been pretty spaced out. I've been itching to see Bewitched since I heard about it tho, since I've been a fan of the American show for so long. _________________

I have it, but haven't watched it 'cause the video is so lousy... But I haven't been able to figure out how to successfully extract the subs from it and hardsub a new copy with better video....
And it was a joy from beginning to end. There aren't many people in the world who can do farce the way Sanma can. And this was one of his best.
And the supporting cast, top to bottom, was an all star team.
Jeez, I enjoyed this show.
I also just finished Kiraware Matsuko no Isshou. Rina Uchiyama's TV version of the Miki Nakatani movie.
Okay, so I was with this show for a long time. They seemed to be doing a solid job. And Rina was... well Rina is a peach. So Rina was fine with me.
Then they got to the 10th of the 11 episodes... and they just went over the melo-drama cliff.
To be fair, the woman the story is about is a train wreck. She manages to make exactly the wrong decision at every point in her life. And life smacks her around pretty good.
But by the end... the final straw... the last cruel blow that life handed old Matsu... I just started laughing so hard people came into the office wondering if I was watching a comedy.
After I stopped laughing I could see why the director of the movie leaned so heavily on the black comedy aspects of this story.
Anyway... I just started watching Ai To Iu Nano Moto Ni.
Probably not a good choice. So far, all the show has to recommend it is the fact that it was the debut drama for a lot of future favorites. Folks like Fukatsu Eri and Natsukawa Yui (the doctor from "Kekkon Dekinai Otoko")
I picked it because I'm a Suzuki Honami fan. She's the female lead, and Karasawa Toshiaki is the leading man.
It's yet another early 90's... the gang leaves college and come of age in cold hearted Tokyo story. Their lives, their loves, their sorrows... yada yada.
I'll stick with it because I figure that if anyone can find a way to breath life into this thing it's Suzuki Honomi. But as of right now... it's looking pretty forgettable. _________________

When are you watching Kimi ga Oshiete Kureta Koto (From the heart/The things you taught me)? That is probably my favorite drama of all time and I'm curious to see what you think of it.

Hopefully it'll convince others to watch this show. It seems like no one has heard about it or liked it besides me.

I enjoy your reviews because it makes me want to watch the dramas you talk about. Now I think I want to move this one up in my queue. _________________

I can tell you right now, I watched the entire series of O.D. in one night, it was that addicting. Now I don't know if it'll have the same affect on you, but it is possible!
Watching Iryu 2 Ep 10 tonight and then moving over to SP 3-4 (have been waiting for those for a while!). Plus, I'm planning on a HERO marathon this weekend too, hope it's any good...

I dunno when I'll get to that. I'll try to move it up.
Right now I just finished the first episode of Bewitched. I'd forgotten how much fun Ryoko-san is to watch! _________________
Don't forget that Takenaka Naoto is in this drama as well...
Yes! He's so funny in this! I usually enjoy him, just not in Nodame. And Harada Taizo is also in this (as George)! I thought he was grand in Enka no Joou, so it's nice to see him in another drama.
I'm watching epi 2 now.
Btw, the video capture isn't THAT bad. I think it's almost the same as the quality of SB. _________________
Wow, what's your drama schedule like anyway? I think maybe I should make one instead of wondering what to watch.
Back to topic...I'll probably watch the 9th episode of Odoru tonight after I get done with some trades and authoring I'm working on.
I have wallets that I keep dramas in, and as I get them, I place dramas in order of interest. Usually I forget why I put a drama in a certain spot, so I try not to move them around. That way, when I start watching one and realize it's awesome (hence the order), it's a nice surprise. Wedding Planner is an example. I had moved it up on the list without remembering why, and then when I saw it, I remembered that a few people had highly recommended it for story and characters.
I'm surprised such a drama was made...the Japanese at all levels of society are seriously indicted for their mistreatment of their own repatriated citizens from Korea after the war...
On a similar note...downloaded Ri Kouran from crunchyroll...
