FRIDAY 1.Feb.2008 issue
A Night where Katori Shingo was seen carrying Takeuchi Yuko in His Arms translated by Yanie
On the first working day after New Year's one-week break, the place where salaryman and office ladies back to work, is West Shinjuku's Office area. Under the cold sky, these two people were seen together in this area. The tall man was talking on the phone while he was climbing up the stairs. Behind him, a bit below, is a beautiful lady who was also talking on the phone, and turns out it's Takeuchi Yuko (27)! With the cellphone still on her ear, she face the tall man and said, "Mi~~tsuketa!(I found you!)". And apparently, the tall man is Katori Shingo (30). It was around 9 PM. Isn't Takeuchi Yuko's divorce case still in process? That means she is still legally someone's wife. So, they are in the middle of a secret date?
Suddenly, in a fast move, Katori turn her waist around with his right hand, lift her up with his left hand, and carry her in his arms in a blink of a second. "Kya~ what are you doing??!" Takeuchi is happily surprised and was giggling facing his face. After they looked at each other for a moment, Katori started to walk down the stairs with a smile on his face. Takeuchi was looking both shy and nervous. (picture below)
In the next moment, suddenly Takeuchi looked unhappy and he put her back on the ground. She walk off, leaving him. But Katori was aftering her. However, it doesn't seem that Takeuchi is seriously angry. In fact, not long after that, their distance was getting closer, instead. (picture below)
Then, Katori took off his own jacket and put it around her. "This is The Big Couple Of The Year!!!"..... though... we would really like to announce that, but to those who has good sense might realized already that this is just a scene at the drama filming location. One of the scene in the drama, "Bara no nai Hanaya", which started in January, airs on Mondays, 9 PM. A script by Nojima Shinji about a flower shop owner and a blind beauty who met when she was sheltering herself from the rain in front of the flower shop. The first episode's rating was predicted to receive about 18%, but it got a successful 22.4%!
This "Katori carrying Takeuchi" scene was taken over and over, from many angles and positions, but it seems the director was not satisfied yet, so it was re-done so many times. Eventually, this one scene's filming was done on 2 AM. This scene is going to be one of the best love-love scene. Let's look forward to how it goes in the drama.

Oh wow! Can't say I wasn't fooled! I'd be really shocked to see any SMAP member show any public displays of affections towards their partners, let alone be SEEN in public WITH their partners. But I wouldn't put it pass Shingo to fall for her, since Kimura was really rabid and excited about her during the Pride-times. _________________

Haha... seriously?? I realized it already when it says Shingo carried Yuko in his arms. I don't think dating celebrities would go that far in front of public, lol! But I was quite surprised when I saw Katori Shingo's name on FRIDAY's cover O_o He hadn't been in any gossips since his marriage rumour in the end of 2005. When I saw Takeuchi Yuko's name... ahh, it must be abt the drama... but it kinda make me @_@ when they mention Yuko's divorce case.... but... yappaarriii~~ lol!
Not to mention, they're not in disguise at all. It is kinda believable for Shingo though, since he doesn't care of what he shows to public. He never disguise himself when he's walking outside, not even a sunglasses, even when he has a date with his longtime girlfriend, although rarely seen, but once they were seen, Shingo's face could be clearly seen, coz there's no hat or sunglasses. (I dunno whether or not he's still together with that girl though... but ever since a particular interview in 2006, and his weird drawing on that same year, I have a feeling he might've broken up with her already =P)

I'm just glad it wasn't written that it is Shingo who deliberately made the NGs coz he wanted to take advantage of Yuko Or maybe he'll get that kind of rumour from now on x)
I think it'll be interesting if they have a talk about Shingo's drama in the ending talk, then asked what was it like for them when they acted together with Takeuchi Yuko, since 4 of them has worked together with her^^ _________________

Heheh, that's okay, we all have our own likes and dislikes
You know how Shingo likes to draw the black rabbit? On that year, Shingo drew a big broken heart above the black rabbit, and the rabbit is bleeding, wounded and has bandages all over its body^^ And I think he also wrote LOVE in ala blood-splash style xD lol! I think Megumi has the picture... so Megumi, pls correct me...I only remember vaguely xD
In the end of 2005, there was a rumour that Shingo got his girlfriend pregnant and that they already gotten married secretly in a cruise ship. I forgot where I read this, though... sorry xD
In the interview with Sakai Masaaki(an old man, veteran actor), in the end of 2006, Shingo said seriously, that he had once thought about marriage. But right now, he has none of that thoughts at all, he only thinks about his job now, and there's no word of "marriage" at all in his head now.
So, I'm predicting there might be some truth, in his marriage rumour back in 2005 (MINUS the pregnant thingy xD). MAYBE there was a marriage talk with his girlfriend, and somehow it leaked out... but then it didn't work out...? Although, this sounds exactly like what happened to Kimura and Kaorin xD But I couldn't think of any other possibility. Maybe IT IS difficult for SMAP members to be together with a common woman...the pressure might be too much for those ladies. So far, only Kudo Shizuka and Kanno Miho has survived
Usually, in the past, Nakai would only date common women and has no interest in female celebrities. But slowly his choices has turn to a female announcer, Nakano... and then, now (IF its true), Koda Kumi. If Nakai and Kumi matter is really true, and their relationship goes smooth. Then it'll strengthen my theory _________________
Roughly, it says according to the information given by a well-known music producer, Nakai-Kumi has started to prepare their marriage from now on. They might register their marriage in July, the latest would be on October. But the marriage ceremony won't be held until next year, due to lots of necessary preparations, like finding a new house, and all. Its also related to Nakai's recording company that has problems with Kumi's recording company...they'll need to settle that first.
haha... I won't believe this yet, until Nakai announce it himself. Last year, Nakai-Nakano marriage rumour was also very hot, but nothing happened =P Afterall, with Kumi's career right now, is it possible for her to get married now? hmm, I dunno... Utada Hikaru and Namie Amuro got married young too x)

Adding Shingo's love life's rumour. One of his popular rumour was with Mizuki Arisa, the actress, 10 years ago, back in 1997, and it occured again in 2000.
In 1997, there were rumours of Shingo and Mizuki Arisa dating, after they first known each other in the romantic drama, Ichiban Taisetsu na Hito (The Most Important Person), aired on TBS, April-June 1997. But some rumours also said it was only Arisa's one-sided love.
This is a pic of Shingo-Arisa in their drama, 10 years ago...
In 2000, a rumour that Arisa once got pregnant and did an abortion surfaced. The question of who's the father was divided to 2: "The Guy who Got Her Pregnant is Ishida Issei" theory and "The Guy who Got Her Pregnant is Katori Shingo". According to the Japanese BBS I read, people seem to be more keen on the "Katori Shingo" theory. People seem to want to believe that the father was Katori Shingo x) For example, when people asked, "Is there any hot gossip on Mizuki Arisa?", one of the random answers would be, "She aborted Katori Shingo's child, y'know" This rumour was quite popular back then.
In SMAPxSMAP 19 Nov 2005 (I might be wrong with the date, but it was definitely Nov05), where Arisa was the guest in Roulette Bowling and she was in Kimura-Shingo team, Nakai teased Shingo and Arisa Haha, I love it everytime Nakai do this, he has good talents in teasing good pairing (like KimuraMatsu^^). I'm sure Nakai remember about the rumour, so he teased them like this...
Arisa: I'm targeting.... No.5!! (Kimura and Shingo were kinda startled, and Nakai too)
Nakai: Five? Did you talk about this with your team's members?
Arisa: Iya'... kate ni(no, I decided this myself)...*grinning*....

Everyone laughed and Arisa suddenly laughed so hard too, and she let herself falling to the floor. What even adorable is... SHINGO's FACE!!!! lol!! He looked soooooo embarrassed and seem like he didn't want that matter to be brought up again like that, Shingo actually turned his face away, as opposite as it is from Nakai and Arisa, and he falls off the seat too! I repeated this moment, over and over, coz I love Shingo-Arisa pairing, and I had to see that adorable Shingo face more than twice, lol!
On the screen, the scene in their drama, Ichiban Taisetsu, where they were about to kiss was shown in the little box below^^
I love Nakai's face too, I mean he can asked such a sensitive question and blowing Shingo-Arisa away till they falls off to the ground, with a straight-innocent face, haha! Later on, Shingo answered.
Shingo: No, ...we are... *stuttering* we are walking on different paths now...and... well, anyway, IN ANY CASE, starting January, I'm playing as Son Gokuu!!!"....LOL! LOL! LOL!
I think it also has gotten to do with the fact that, among other actresses, it was Mizuki Arisa who Shingo had kissing scenes with, the most, and some hot kisses too!^v^ That might be why, he felt so embarrassed.
SMAP members knows Arisa quite well, and their debut drama was together with Arisa, when both Shingo and Arisa were 10 years old. I guess judging with how long they've known each other, might be one of the reason why the press were in the hots for Shingo-Arisa. _________________

I'd like to apologize that I'm on SHINGO-HIGH, so I decide to put up that Shingo-Arisa drama review here, in case anyone's interested
This is a very sweet love story. And this was Shingo's first time in being the lead of a LOVE STORY drama. I'll put it on par with Love Story, Shingo's other romantic drama with Yuuka, where he was only the supporting actor. But I love this one better, since he's the lead =P
Kohei(Shingo) and Miwa(Mizuki Arisa) are bestfriends since elementary school until highschool. After Miwa graduated, she left Yokohama for a year, but then went back home and meet Kohei again. They're very close with each other....Miwa really knows Kohei's mother well. Kohei knows Miwa's parents too. At times, Kohei got home and would suddenly find Miwa eating dinner in his house....then, they would chit-chat in Kohei's room....have numerous of cute quarrels, too.
They're dating other people...and would talk about each of their problems through the phone at midnight. Or, suddenly Miwa who's coming to Kohei's house at midnight. They even once went to the sea by train at midnight.
They tease each other a lot too, like, "So, u remember my birthday? Yappari, Kohei wa atashi no koto suki nan da(you must've been in love with me)!!". And he would answer, "Baka!! Aren't you the one who had crush on me since highschool?".
One night...they're in this place where kids used to write their name and the person they like on the wall. Kohei remembered he once wrote on the wall, but forgotten who the girl he wrote. Miwa said, "Ah, of course, you must've written my name!! Desshou ne??". Kohei answered, "Baka!! Impossible!". They try to look for it, they found it...and turns out, Kohei really did write her name besides his. Then, the atmosphere between them became awkward^^
The story takes turn, when they challenge each other, that even though they kiss...nothing will change, and they would stay bestfriends. So, Kohei kissed Miwa on the lips gently...3 times. The 3rd one is a long one, and I think Kohei got really sunked into it and starts to grab her arm....=P But then, Miwa starts to back off, and running leaving Kohei, who seems looked really troubled and their friendship is now officially ruined xP I'll stop here with the story.....
I love Kohei and Miwa's relationship as bestfriends and they really care bout each other and eventually, love each other. Their scenes are very sweet and cute!
Shingo and Arisa have a very good chemistry!! I love seeing them together! It's just that Shingo's character is kinda mellow and in a pensive mood. Although I love it when he becomes playful. But Shingo seem like he was not sure of how to act the character, he was not comfortable in acting Kohei. I have to say Shingo's acting as Shiomi Eiji in Bara no nai Hanaya is 5x better!^^
But thanks to the good chemistry between him and Arisa, I enjoyed this drama very much!^v^ The drama's themesong was Starting Over by John Lennon^^ Love the ending titleback as well. _________________
