Good work on the awards info atskv9 Applaud

I finally watched "Maki's European Bicycle Adventures", I have to say I enjoyed it very much even though it wasn't dubbed and so I had no Idea what was going on. Maki spoke French/German very well, I was impressed.
She probably had a little help but still you've got to give it to her for doing the project.
I did however notice she was "Mrs Nike" on the program though, all her clothes etc were Nike...........Damn corperate sponsorship.

Not my work, I only found the video. So basically just reposting everything.

I really liked watching that Bicycle show. Yeah there was alot of Nike, but she looked cute being all sporty Sweat I liked how she tried to speak the other languages too. It was nice she went through France cause I could actually understand some of what she was saying when she spoke French Smile

I'm still extremely torn over her. One day she fires off a great performance (I really like her in ALWAYS), and then the other day she gets something like Deru Toko Demasho (where a random wooden log could have played her part). I don't know.

I'm getting the impression that she's extremely script dependent, like Maeda Aki. If the script is garbage she can't do anything, literally, then she's wooden like hell. However, if the script is good, ZOMG, off we go.

Though, she seems to be doing better in movies than in drama series.

One thing I want is... seeing her and Aki in a production again. Like in Shibuya Kaidan.

Agreed...her performance in Always San Chome was choice...other productions she was in like Kurosagi....her portrayal was crap.

Same with Aki. In Harami she was great (eventhough the movie was quite odd), same in the Inspector Kariya series. In Saikano or that guest appearance in that new series with those 4 sisters serving murder cases? BLARGH... bleh bleh bleh bleh

Maki's really the same. Teppan Shojo Akane... oivech... It was so sad. I cam directly from Nobuta wo produce, and I really loved her performance there. And then Akane... OIVECH!!! That was like... out of the cosy, warm living room right into Novosibirsk with -70C while wearing no clothes at all.

Curious how Maki would be doing on stage. Has she ever been in a stage production? Personally I think she should be doing quite well.

Aye, give it a try. Myself, I didn't bother watching it all. I stopped after three episodes.
