Oh yeh, for ur information, I haven't watch much of his drama except for 1 or 2 of them but I really like him, probably because of his kawaii smile. Same as you I like him and he is on my top ten list, but not on the top of my top ten list yet. on the top must be kimura ^.^ Anywayz, I juz feel like japanese entertainment get control by JE. You see most of the famous actors these days are from JE. There is a really rare # of actors whose are famous but from another company. isn't it weird and kinda unfair???? Even my beloved kimura is from JE >.< I bet kassy will be so famous if he is a memeber of JE.

For the record, I think if Kassy is from JE and if he is as famous as Kimutaku, I doubt I will like him...

Back in the days when Kimu first came out, with Love Generation, Hero, Heaven's Coin etc, I refused to watch any of his shows; because I cannot stand the fact that so many girls are crazy of him and that all my friends like him. ...
So... I decided to 'walk the path less travelled'... and picked someone less famous and less well-known, but no less kakkoii.
Alright, that was the initial reason, stupid reason I know.

I have nothing against Kimutaku, but I just don't like guys who are like by many people.... When their life and career seemed too smooth sailing, I feel they lack the down-to-earth feel, and abit unreal to me.
An artist who have been through ups and downs, and still managed to give his best performance, not obsessing over fame, attracts me most...

eh?! i smell some takuya-takashi comparison here... and it seems interesting

as for my thoughts:

yes, Johnny Kitagawa = Prime Minister of Japan [hehe, kidding]. seriously, large # of successful celebs are from JE, even the top 3 artist from this site are Je boys! To simply put, there is really a bias thingy goin on. Welcome to the real world.

btw, if Takashi-kun is a JE boy what group would he be in?

No offence to Mr Johnny... if Takashi-kun is in JE, I think nothing will be left of him... everyone knows what kinda person Mr J is... I don't think he will get his hands off this pretty dude.

but I also don't think Takashi-kun can survive in the competitive environment of JE. he's such a laid-back person... JE doesn't seem to give its boys any freedom...

HAHA... good question.

I was just discussing with fans in the chinese forum that almost all his shows sucks in fact... cliche and plain plots (oops! ) ... but he is a good actor, just that the plots suck (and rating usually sucks too. oops!)

But one drama worth watching is Hakusen Nagashi. You must watch from the first (11-episodes) series (made in 95/96) plus the 5 SPs (1997, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2005). It is actually a very good drama with good plot. Good drama to see how he grew up and how he changed, from a pretty boy-next-door to a kakkoii dude to a matured man...

But if you want to see his pretty face, I would recommend Rennai kekkon no housoku (if you can find this which is nearly 10 years ago... there's 2 kissing scenes that blew me away! heh heh!) and Big Wing (in this Uchida is more like the lead, he is just like a supporting act besides her, but he looks really desirable in here, woah!)

But in the first place... you haven't watch Itazura? And have you watch the movie Love Letter? I mean, love for Takashi-kun all starts from these 2 shows... you better start with these 2. LoL.

Omg, hi five..... we have the same ideas. That y I have only like kimura for like 4 months ^.^ the story is I have heard about kimura but not really watch any of his dramas. In fact i dun really interested in Jdrama and then somehow I accidentally watch "a million stars falling from the sky" I don't even know kimura is the main character, like I mention, i dun really interested in him. In fact I dun even think he is handsome. But then i'm in love with the movie and the main character. After that I find out the main character is kimura. That is when I fall 4 him

Is it true???? I noe JE is famous, but never noe much info about it. Oh yeh, and I heard about Jin from Kat-tun got a problem with Johnny rite?? cauz of sexual harassments?? not sure, If dat is true then, good thing dat takashi wasn't in JE. I wouldn't want a dude to touch all over him

I don't get the thing about Mr. Johnny how does he freakin get his business this big??? somehow I have sense dat I don't like him........ Anywayz, if takashi really join JE, I think he must be in the SMAP ^.^ he deserve it. those famous groups like NewS, kat-tun, arashi....... they are juz junior not good enough for him.
