SP (Security Police)

I wouldn't say i hate it. There are some dramas that deserved this "hate it" more than SP.

Having seen what a real SP does (both American and Asian versions), i really thought the screenplay is written by a high school kid. I walked side by side SPs once. No, i wasn't the VIP. Boy, they were cooooooooool............so were their canine bombsweepers.

Only the sound editor deserves praise. He threw in all the opera music, Russian classicals he ever knew to impress the audience.

I think i would just give this show a rating of '6', whatever the outcome this Saturday.

Okay, a poor choice of words on my part... But now I'm wondering if I wasted my time downloading all those episodes for nothing.

I would say no. I just finished watching episode 9 and I like this drama. I am curious how they will end it but I love the passion of Ogata in this drama. I would rate it an 8. I do love the music they chose to use in this as well. Especially Carmina Barrerra (sp?) It is one of my favorite pieces

Okay, well I'll watch a couple of episodes and see how it goes... I'm not as gun crazy as some of the other members here...

Neither am I. I didnt even know about it till ep 6 came out when I saw it on crunchyroll. BUt I like Okada Junichi. And even though he is a pop boy it doesnt make it obvious like some others do. I also love the acting by Tsutsumi Shinichi. He is like a guardian angel who wates over Okada's character. I dont think it is sappy or gun crazy. I also thought when I first saw it that they would make some crazy explanation for Inoue's (played by Okada) talent but they used a real medical explanation. ok im going to stop now as to not give away to much

Heh, when I said gun crazy, I meant the other members here, who were tripping out on the apparent poor/unreal choice of guns used by the police in the drama (I'll get flamed for this, I'm sure)...

That sounds like my dad. I didnt really pay attention to what guns they used. I was paying more attention to Okada and Tsutsumi. I also think it was cool they put a chick in the group.

Episode 9 was boring. Where were all the action scenes? I don't care about the story! I like to see Okada Junichi being hot and fighting.

Yes ep 9 was not too interesting but I feel it was necessary to go into ep 10 and 11.

Episode 9 (technically Episode IV-I if you watched the opening! ) did the necessary job of setting up the finale. The plot needs to be set up before anything can execute...and I can tell from the previews of 10 that we're going to get some decent action next episode.

I was a little shocked to find out who was the traitor amongst the security division. Also I wonder how they are going to play out the scene with Inoue and the PM. Will Inoue want to protect him since Inoue feels that the PM killed his parents. Also I hope they explain the whole story of why Inoue's parents were murdered.

Did anyone catch SP Special last weekend ?

Or did i catch the wrong show called "SP Scrapbook". Almost the whole show was cut and paste ? I had wanted to know how that sniper became an legitimate SP suddenly.........

If it hadn't been high fuel prices, i would have taken a budget flight to Tokyo to shoot the producer.I can be a pretty good sniper too.

Yeah, I heard it's just a flashback special. I hate those. Why even bother to watch the series, then? What a waste of time. Apparently there will be a movie coming out that will really actually continue the story.
