Takekaze: Tokyo Shounen looks to be another great performance for her. I don't think you should look forward to the Kurosagi movie for a stunning performance first because the movie is about Yamapi and secondly, from the trailers her part doesn't look that big. In March though, she has lead in a two part SP called Tokyo Daikushu (might've spelled it wrong... basically Tokyo Air Raid). It's gonna be a serious one: post-Hiroshima and she's a nurse.

I'll agree "Teppan" isn't her best j-drama, but she is pretty much the only good thing in it, the supporting characters weren't the greatest (apart from the twin girls who work with her).
There is actually a twist towards the end of the series, I won't say what it is but it kinda keeps the story going.
Basically if your a fan of Maki then it's worth watching it for her then again it mite put u off her (depends how you feel about her I guess).
Not me though I believe she is the best thing in "Teppan", I love her look in it
The Maki movie news is pretty exciting, i'm looking forward to them as she doesn't seem to be appearing in any up and coming drama's (apart from that two parter that atskv9 mentioned "Tokyo Air Raid").
I've got the first 5 episodes of Seiko Shokun downloaded, the only problem is that these are the only episodes with subtitles.
Now I'm not sure whether to start watching the series now or wait till they've done the subs for the rest of the episodes.
I mean it could be ages till they do the subs..................
Annoying to say the least.
