During the drama NANA Mika Nakashima sang a song called Glamorous Sky. Girugamesh also did a cover to that song. I was wondering if anyone has any opinion on which they liked better. I personally liked the one from Girugamesh simply because I feel that Mika strains her voice too much in this song and it doesnt sound too good.

For those who havent heard the songs and would like to dl to listen to them here are the links

Mika Nakashima- http://www.megaupload.com/?d=TUX4HVJO

Girugamesh-http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HGBY5WLU

I like her version better, But it might be because I'm bias since i really love NANA. I like her raspiness, i think it ads character to her song.

Ah! I've got the first four albums, which are mostly excellent, but I'm really lagging behind on their newer releases.

Very cool! Have still to check out the SHOUTcast jukebox.
You sound like a major buriguri fan - I don't blame you! Victory! Peace!

Here's The Brilliant Green's Los Angeles album - imo, their best one. It's full of very strong songs, and is a lot of fun -

speaking of TBG, does anyone know of a link to an English translation of their song "Hello Another Way -Sorezore no Basho-"? and whether it was used as a theme song or insert song for a dorama/movie?

please advise, thanks![/b]

Ah, I'm so jealous, Scaturan! I only learnt of TBG about 18 months ago!
I couldn't believe what I had been missing. Puppy Dog Eyes

I'm so disappointed that most people here in the UK have never heard of TBG, and never will.

Oh, I'm sorry I can't help about the lyrics you want. I had a search on the internet, but couldn't find them. Hopefully someone else on Jdorama might be able to help you. Victory! Peace!

Stumble upon this: Gallhammer

They seem like a fun bunch, singing happy song like morning musume. 3 girls:
* Vivian Slaughter : - Vocals/Bass
* Mika Penetrator : - Vocals/Guitar
* Risa Reaper : - Drums/Vocals

They have happy song titles like Endless Nauseous Days, Tomurai: May Our Father Die and At the Onset of the Age of Despair. hehe *now where's my rope* Bleah
