The only thing i remember you doing was locking this thread temporarily, but it seems like that calmed things down nicely ^________^

Well i do hope the AP special will be something nice. Hopefully it'll be the last thing to this drama. She'll be a good cabin attendant, her romance fulfilled, and that guy will end up a pilot?

or....disaster strikes and she has to use her experience and keep things in check <----though this scene will probably remind me a lot of that one scene in Good Luck Sweat Sweat Sweat

Apparently some people took offense to that and bailed out.

Oh well.

Wow, I can actually post something NEW!! Fingers crossed

here's something I found earlier today :-

This spring, NTV is adapting the manga series "Hokaben" as a live-action drama), starring Aya Ueto. Originally written by novelist/lawyer Hiroyuki Nakajima, the story deals with the growth of a novice lawyer.

The comic ran in Evening KC between 2003 and 2006, and is scheduled to resume in April. The protagonist is originally male, but producer Yoshio Yamamoto felt that a female character would get a better response from viewers.

Ueto plays Akari Domoto, an idealistic lawyer who wants to "rescue the weak." She joins a large law office, though she is assigned to a lowly department whose only other member is her boss, who was transferred there after making a mistake during a case.

While Ueto is known for her light-hearted characters in previous dramas, this series places her in a serious role.

"Hokaben" will air on Wednesday nights at 10:00pm, starting in April.

Hmm, could be interesting ......

Second special for "Attention Please" announced

Tue, February 19, 2008 (3:57pm EST)
The 2006 Fuji TV drama series "Attention Please" is returning to television for a second special episode. The series starred Aya Ueto as Yoko Misaki, a young woman training to become a flight attendant. In January of last year, Fuji TV aired the first special, which featured Yoko flying to Honolulu.

This time, Yoko will face new troubles as she flies to Sydney, Australia. The story also involves a major event for the instructor Mikami, played by Miki Maya. Other returning cast members include Saki Aibu, Chihiro Otsuka, and Kotaro Koizumi, though it is not yet clear whether Ryo Nishikido will be back. Yuichi Sato will again be directing.

Fuji TV will broadcast the special at 9:30pm on April 3.

On this special, I heard she's going to be a cabin attendant on a Japanese whaling ship that arrives to throngs of welcoming Aussie citizens waving tempura and beef katsu sandwiches.

Aya the whaling advocate?
