Synopsis to Bara no nai Hanaya
Shiomi Eiji is forced to become a single father when his girlfriend passes away while giving birth to their daughter, Shizuku. Desolate after the loss of the woman he loved, Eiji has little time or desire to even consider remarrying, working part-time jobs just to make ends meet. The one thing that gives meaning and joy to his life is Shizuku, but even that begins to trouble him when Shizuku begins acting strange, hiding her face by putting a cloth over her head when around other people.
One day after opening his flower shop, Eiji comes across a blind woman standing by the door, taking shelter from the rain. When he invites her to come inside the shop, she at first refuses, but later gives in to Eiji's kindness. They become intimate friends and she slowly grows to depend on Eiji's sincerity and goodheartedness. After rescuing her a following evening when she walks into the street and is nearly struck by traffic, Eiji himself inexplicably discovers the cold of winter that has saddled his heart all these years slowly melting away...

This has been bugging me for quite a while now. The drama in the database is labeled as "Nagaru Onna," but the correct title is "Naguru Onna".
I'll post in this thread as I see more mistakes.
And I wish that the first letter of the drama titles could be capitalized because it irks me that only the first letter is capitalized. I'm anal in that sense. _________________
As for the Romaji spelling of double Os, many artistes write their name with only one O. Like Itoh Misaki for example who spells her name Ito on her website. _________________

That capitalization really irks me as well! I usually change them when I see them, but I haven't touched hte dramas yet in terms of hardcore makeovers. I'm still working on the Artistes. Tho I'm almost done with the artistes! Thanks to Shari's help, of course.

For the capitalization, I think there was a written rule somewhere. If the word are Japanese romanized words, they are low case. Particles are low case too. Only names, the title's 1st letter and English words are. It's kind of complicated, but it seems it was like that. I have no idea who came out with this tho. _________________

Yea but that just looks messy, and I've never seen that rule written anywhere... unless it was specific criteria that genma put out. Personally I think it looks cleaner when I title is typed: Densha Otoko

Thanks for fixing the errors, Wyn! Sorry I didn't comment earlier, but I forgot that I posted in this thread.

Instead of Densha otoko.
I don't think that there's a written rule about typing romaji in lower case either. I do agree with Tabana that particles (ga, wo/o, wa, ni, etc.) should be lower case though.
Another thing that bugs me is that some drama titles are romanized from katakana like "101 kaime no puropozu" and "raiaa geemu" (*irked at the non-capitalization*), but some others are translated into English like "Yellow Card." Consistency, people, consistency!
Sorry if I seem irritated, but I'm bored at work so I have time to be nitpicky. _________________

O, is that what he meant? Yea, I agree as well. It looks cleaner when it's Nobuta wo Produce, compared to Nobuta Wo Produce.

I KNOW! I don't know why dramas have English Titles when there's a spot for English Titles BENEATH the Japanese title. Grr. But no worries, when I see those, I change them. After I'm done with artistes, I'll work on giving Dramas an overhaul. I know Tabana is doing that already. _________________

A big thanks to both you and Tabana for all the corrections! You guys are doing a great job. _________________
