Slightly 0ff-topic: How are the Kuitan 2 DVD's working for you, Keps-chan? No problems with the encoding etc?
Well, I'm part way through disc 2, and so far, they have been perfect. No problems at all. I watch them on my tv, using my dvd player (it plays region free discs).
Gomennasai, cori! I can't back you up on this. They don't look anything alike. I mean, there's a resemblance in the pics you posted, but that's just in the pics.
I really did try to see what you see. But I couldn't.

Exactly... Maybe in passing or a quick glance, but that's it.

@ Cori - yes! I agree there is a resemblance between Higashiyama and Tamaki. Especially in those two pictures you posted. However, imo there is less of a likeness in mannerisms, etc. Mind you, I'm just going on seeing a few minutes of Tamaki on YouTube (never seen him in a drama).
I think they're more similar in mannerisms and tone of voice more than looks-wise, though they look similar in certain angles.

It's probably because of your previous posts about it, but I see a resemblance to Tamaki Hiroshi in that pic...
Thank goodness someone else sorta agrees with me.

MMmmmm... Nori-san...
As I mentioned before, it's more about mannerisms and things like that. It's only sometimes when I glance at either of them that they look similar to me. I guess I'm weird like that. Hell, my cousin reminds me of Drew Barrymore and she's Japanese.
And on topic, I'm gonna try to watch the fourth episode of Kuitan 2 tonight. I wish I could watch them quicker because Keps is making the later episodes sound so fun and I want to join the party too! _________________

Make an appointment.
You're mean. I think my mom needs an appointment too because she's the one who pointed it out to me...wait, so *that's* where I get it from. _________________

It's the single for the ending theme song, which Kuitan, Ryuunosuke, & Kindaichi sing.
Oh, thanks for putting me right.
I wonder what the extra tracks are...

morita go is really a bomb!!
Hehe. I just recently realized how often Morita Go looks like he absolutely wants to wet himself laughing. I don't know if he's always like this, but in Kuitan if it's not one of the more serious scene, he has a massive grin.

You misspelled "Bum."
Ouch. His pop group (V Sux) make me feel ill, but I like Morita-san. He's good fun in Kuitan, and I find him very likeable.

V Sux
I agree though, I like a lot of people such as Nagase Tomoya, Okada Junichi etc in dramas and when I see them in this really bad bad "bands" perfoming really silly songs, wearing stupid outfits I just want to

Yes Mr JE I am blaming YOU
Lol! Well, that poop group do suck big time.
Apart from laughing/cringing once, I don't have much interest in these "bands" (like the quotation marks, Esther - too right!) that a lot of the young male actors seem to be in.
But for for those who like puke-inducing soppiness, vile dance routines, and weedy vocals - I'm sure they're great!
I found the single mentioned above on Yesasia -
The extra tracks include an "original karaoke" version of the ending theme, and of "Itadakimasu!".
I'm guessing these are voiceless versions for hardcore Kuitan obsessives to sing along with.

It's hard to believe it's the same guy in the Feature Artist pic.

That's because he's getting well paid to basically have fun

Saw the fifth episode of Kuitan 2 last night. That was the curry episode where Momo-chan showed off her awesome cooking skills. "Itadakimasu," the coupling song from "Itoshi no Napolitan," played during the ending scene where they all ate curry at Holmes Agengy. _________________
