I'm having flashbacks from the cube apartments.
haha...yeah a lot of functional buildings like apartments, some schools, and such are pretty drab.....i mean look at all the apartments in the doramas lots of them look like prison blocks...not very fashionable.
but i guess like anywhere the fashionable architecture is left to the big money high profile projects...
almost every designer label has an absolutely extravagant boutique.....i was lucky to see a few....
i didn't see the Gucci store in Shinjuku, only the one in Omotesando...the Shinjuku branch is supposed to be the largest Gucci store in the world.....even larger than any in Italy.

Wow.
From what I know, people spend a lot of money on themselves instead of car and house in Tokyo. Lots of potential customers, not to mention they have the busiest street corner in the world in Shinjuku. _________________

A lot of them looks like fools IMHO. I don't really get the bloody clothes and bandages.
For regular, classy and not trashy, check Japanese websites. If it's just to check at pictures, it doesn't mind if you can't read. I don't have any eccentric street fashion links except the previous 2 you posted.
Fall and winter clothing is already out. Nothing quite like trying wool clothing when you're sweating in a t-shirt with the A/C on. Prepare yourself to throw away all your clothes. It seems everything is either black, white or both. _________________
EDIT: I would SO love to wear that while riding the subway in Japan....but I don't think I could contain myself from laughing my ass off. And when I got off everytime I passed by a mirror or reflective glass I would stop and check out my cool hoodie.
