What show was this that Yukie was on? Anybody know where I could find a clip of this?
i'm not exactly sure, but i suppose that was from 'ii to mo' (try to search youtube for yukie nakama clips).

EVERYONE:
for gokusen 3 news, you can search youtube. i just saw 2 news clips which featured the taping of the first episode plus what yukie nakama felt about the 3rd installment of the show.
the first episode shows yankumi living in okinawa, and sawatari goes there to ask yankumi to return to tokyo... of course, we all know what happens.
i really not know the reason why but i know how some words could send the wrong message towards soo yea just wanted to tell u ok
the slang word 'jap' was commonly used during WWII by american soldiers.
it's not really as derogatory as some other racial slurs, but it depends on the context.
i agree, just to be safe, it's better not to use it at all.

i'm not sure if the video clip is still on youtube, but the show/segment is called 'Ii to Mo'.
yukie nakama guested on that show to plug her stageplay, 'natsu hitori' with katsuhisa namase (sawatari in 'gokusen') and ken utsui (grandpa in 'gokusen'). later during the chat, they called ken utsui over the phone.
don't worry. if you can't find it, i still have the clip with me (as well as lots more yukie CMs, MVs, etc... plus the coveted digi-kishin photoshoot video).

as for sharing files, sure! if you find anything new about yukie, feel free to share it with us! what you can do is:
a) if it's a digital file, keep it in your PC/flash drive/MMC card.
b) if it's an actual item, keep it as well
c) you can send it to me/chris
-so when we have gatherings, we can meet and share it with each other! we will also find a good way to put them in an online archive.

for yukie nakama fans in the philippines:
-the ozinefest 2008 (which is an anime/manga/cosplay event)
will be held on april 5-6 2008 at the sm megamall megatrade hall 2 (5F).
(my gf might join the cosplay event as yankumi again)
however, they have an entrance fee of P100.00.
i would like to suggest that we can meet there, but if some cannot afford the entrance fee, we could probably meet outside the venue or somewhere else in sm megamall.
what do you guys think? this'll be a great chance for us to meet each other...

-i can also burn a cd collection of all the yukie nakama files that i have and then distribute it to you guys at the event, but i'll just need to cover for the cost of burning them.
the running price of a good (not cheap) cd-r is P20.
is 30pesos good enough for a yukie nakama collection?
it will contain:
-60+MB of yukie nakama pics (took us several years to get them all!)
-CMs (au by KDDI, nissin, glico, shiseido, etc.)
-interviews/guestings
-MVs
-the digi-kishin photoshoot, of course!
-mp3s of her songs
(i don't even know if all of this will fit into a 700MB cd!)
let me know in advance so i'll know how many cds i'll need.
