Oh, thanks.
Now that you've told me, I can see part of it on the picture.
I've seen the live-action movie and I knew there was an anime, but I didn't know there was a series too

The problem is... Eriko Sato doesn't play Cutie Honey in the TV series. |
That could be a problem indeed

Rats. I was looking all over for the TV series or movie title for the one...
turns out, it's a play.

SHould be right up your alley.
It is a wonderful dorama. |
I'm not so sure about that one because she says that she's "not exactly the target audience for Doramas that focus on middle aged people with working/family problems." _________________

It isnt really though. It is about the son as much as the father certainly. And Yola likes a sobfest. Yasashii makes for regular weeping.
Besides it is a great drama. Everyone should see it.

Beach Boys (although this one does focus on grown men with problems, they are not middle-aged yet i.e. 30-40) |
I think they were in their mid-twenties in that one
**feeling old**
Love BEach Boys though!! _________________

Ah, that's true. And if it's a sobfest that she wants, then this sounds like a good one.
Speaking of sobfests, I know this is a "drama" recommendation thread, but what about Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu, the movie version? That was a really great one and I heard that it was better then the drama version. _________________
