Could someone tell me what this sentence means?@ï̕Ӗ͉łH j:
̑wł́A搶̐搶̎ƂpȂ̂ŁAӂȂƂ܂ˁB
I have a general idea what it means, I'm just not sure on the specifics.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hey!
This would be my translation:
"At my university, you don't see professors taking another professor's class, so it might seem strange."
I'm kinda lost as to what it actually means, but I'm sure you can understand it if you have context.
HTH,
 |
Your translation makes sense in context, but I came up with a totally different meaning for "ӂȂƂ܂".
Mine was "because you don't see professors taking other professor's classes, some interesting things won't become known, right?" Maybe I'm translating too literally...I'm assuming the verb being used in the sentence is m, correct? If so, I'm confused as to what the meaning of is in the sentence.
Any clarification would be great! Thanks.

The word used with m܂ is , so ܂ means "can't be known" or "might" like kokuou wrote.

OK, I think I get it. For example, "mɁA͓{܂" would be in English, "certainly, Chinese might be more difficult than Japanese."?

nanni naru deshou
kantan ni dekirunda
anata mo yattemitai
yatte miyou
mitte myou (Is there a grammar rule for these two last phrases?? maybe verb "te form" + miyou???)
thanks |
Start with the easy one first: "Kantan ni dekirunda" "It's easy (simple) to do" "anata mo yattemitai" "You try it to" "yatte miyou" "Let's try it"

I would be curious to know what this means, too. There is something very similar to this written on a chalkboard in a scene from the movie "鏭" below the phrase "time waits for no one."

Could someone please give me the English equivalent of the phrase "ԂĂ܂܂B"? My guess would be "it took a little more time to get it done."
Thanks! |
i'd go for 'it took a little time'. more or less the same thing. _________________

Yeah, sounds good to me; when I think about it, I'm not sure why I put "more" in there the first time. For context, the whole sentence was: wxɖ̂ŁAԂĂ܂܂Bx
