Wrapped up Proposal Daisakusen SP, loved every minute of it (wished we had more episodes though, despite the fact the show really doesn't have too much more to add, heh). I'm really hoping we get another really good romance drama sometime this year that'll be up to par with this one.
Also finished One Pound Gospel and Shikaotoko Aoniyoshi last weekend. Both were, while entertaining, forgettable series for the most part. Winter was just kinda bleh really, I'm hoping for some strong Spring shows!

I watched it when it was on channel 44. Nishida is great ...Nishida is worth watching all by himself
Man, I hope that channel 44 airs the second season of Asakusa Fukumaru Ryokan because Nishida Toshiyuki is fuggin' hilarious....I love this guy in everything I've seen him in.

Haven't seen any info about that yet... I'll check KXLA's web site.

It's definitely a perk...but I honestly don't watch it with any regularity....I can't even keep up with the dramas that I download via BiiTorrent....in fact that's how I got the channel 44 rip of Asakusa Fukumaru Ryokan ~ d-addicts.

Started watching Asakusa Fukumaru Ryokan with Nishida Toshiyuki...he's awesome as usual...anybody who's seen him in film or TV, will know what I'm referring too. Highly recommended drama set in old world Tokyo...shitomachi (downtown) to be exact.
WTF! ..Are you watching this raw...I got the whole first season sitting on my HD with only the first episode subbed...did I miss something? _________________

Could be awhile. Starting this Sunday they're starting something called "Cool Japan" has to do with anime, mange, pop culture stuff. Dunno how long it's going to run though. And they've changed the start time from the usual 7pm to 6:30
pretty impressive characters portrayed by Itoh Misaki, Eikura Nana, Sato Jiro, Moriyama Mirai and many other known "comedians".
It's too bad that an SP was never considered for this series. How the relationship between Eikura and Moriyama would develop after she... well nvm. _________________

Well keep us posted on any news re: the airing of the second season. That would be most appreciated.

Looks like they haven't even updated their site: it still shows Asakusa Fukumaru Ryokan airing at 7PM on Sunday...
