It was at times... But there were some dramatic and heartfelt moments as well. Victory! Peace!

I'm gonna go watch epi 9 of Yasashii Jikan. I'm curious to see the reactions to the last scene in epi 8. Victory! Peace!

Watched episodes 2 and 3 of Koibumi and it's growing on me. It's so frustrating to see poor Mizuno Miki being treated like shit by her bum of a husband. That guy just repulses me. The story repulses me. Yet, I'm already sucked into it. Also, Ishida Ayumi is also annoying me in this drama, like how she did in countless other dramas. Great. This drama contains two of my most annoying actors. Still, I like this drama regardless..

Also watched the 7th episode of Atsu-hime. It's more of a girly Taiga drama. Hell, should this even be labeled a "Taiga" drama at all? It's more like a regular drama disguised as a Taiga. I'm guessing it's to reel in the female and casual fans.

Lol, it is, but Yama Onna Kabe Onna is much more so. And in Yama, the silliness is done with zero finesse. Mr Green

And to reel in the Taiga naysayers...

Maybe they shoulda made it a Takarazuka Taiga. hehe

Got to At Home Dad ep 6. Decent family show. Really a sitcomy feel but it works. Why do I have to cry even in shows like this?

Atsuhime ep 7. I find this really boring so I know I would have no patience to make it through a "real" taiga.

Just started ProDai SP. Not crazy about Yamapi's acting but for some reason I lurved the series and am very happy watching the SP!!!

I'm on the last episode of Yasashii Jikan. I feel really sad that it's coming to an end. Thank goodness I managed to get the theme song. It'll have to replace the credits in lulling me to sweet sleep.

You should check out Musashi... The story is classic and there are few lulls... But you also have to have some interest in Japanese history. Sweat

Sounds about right: 33GB/49 episodes = 670MB/episode...

It's double that if you consider the 17 DVDs that it spans. Sweat

At 50GB, it wouldn't be able to hold the 17 DVDs, but it'll be no problem for the 33GB...

I see...even the NTSC formatted DVDs would at least be cut down from 17 tho'....no matter, it's not going to happen, but it's not going to be cheap for a long while. Shake Head

Seems to be the case.

Doesn't matter: I've got too much invested in DVDs anyways. Sweat

Yeah but you're referring to pre-recorded DVDs most likely...I'm just talking about storage media....I'm thoroughly sick of burning stuff to disc and having to use an extra blank cuz it doesn't all fit on one DVD....shit's wank.
