ON-TOPIC : i think if you wanted to sing japanese in a country like Malaysia it would be a wild shot. not many people will take interest and you definitely won't hit off bigtime. the only way you can make it big is to start off small, and work your way up. then attract some 'talent-scout' who has contacts in japan. then go to japan and launch an album and be freaking famous. then come back to malaysia to do a promo tour.by that time you will definitely be known!!!!

Now that this cat is out of the bag... Um, being talentless but humble and having the courage to get up and sing is why people love him. I've seen all of his performances on TV. After all this time, his timing for so many lines is still off, aside from the voice and....the dancing! I get a kick out of the kid though, seriously. But it's because he's bad. Plus, I mean, to be honest...it'll sound mean, but the kid is not a looker. And, on top of that, he wears AC Slater shirts (any watchers of Saved By The Bell...picture Slater's short-sleeved blouses, LOL ). But, people like dork-types sometimes....especially humble ones.

for my opinion, i guess its better if u become a really good singer in ur country first, then make a different language versions of ur favorite song, then hope for a miracle that it would crossover to a different country/international.. and that u have good connections/hook ups with other people..etc.

i think its just pity for hung.. i mean i remember the other #10 contestant (original ai..sorry i forgot his name) made it just cuz he had deaf parents.. but in a way.. he could really sing, he just needs to work on a lil bit with his body language. _________________

The brother is a stereotypical engineering geek... I'd really feel sorry for the guy, but this whole stunt and record contract crap made me lose sympathy for the him... And it pisses me that American Idol and that freakin' record company would exploit this guy... There's blame all around, if you ask me.

Yea, being a loner can't really be fun. He lacks social skills but at least he knows how to get his name across america. Never really watched american idol so I can care less about the show. I've been completely converted to j-pop and c-pop, lol
