Agreed. If the director was trying to make some kinda social commentary, he picked the wrong time and film to do it... He coulda/shoulda spent more time with Aoi and Tomoya's relationship...

i watched the episode 1 of Last Friends, but unluckily, no eng subs.

juri has a very short hair and not a trace of nodame in her character in the drama. what a brilliant actress she is.

While classically I was never as much a fan of short hair as much as long (Sae's haircut mixed with her eyes in Orange Days drives me wild; also notice I'm a Kiyora fan (Nodame)), Ms. Juri has given me a new appreciation for the short crop.

For me, I think its how it complements the face and in some ways, the persona of the person: Juri-chan's bob is perfectly suited to her face and her perky, tomboyish personality... A match made in heaven.
