Yikes!!
Sorry to hear about that K-chan... Best wishes on your move and new digs.
Thanks Beem.
We haven't got anywhere to move to yet, but our landlord is not going to force us to leave if we don't find somewhere. But it's obvious they want us to move asap, so it's quite stressful, trying to sort somewhere.
Anyway, I'm determined to carry on with Nodame this weekend.

Finished Odoru Daisousasen today. What a fun one! Really cheesy at times, but definitely worth watching. I love the old detective (Waku) and the Police chief and his minions.. they're awesome. _________________

There are several movies out there as sequels, most go by "Bayside Shakedown" check them out as well!

Yea, they were great and totally in keeping with the series.
I finished Medaka epi 4. I can see now what Musa meant about the first few epi's being slow and then the story gradually picking up.
It's like a GTO feel only with a diff. variety of students (mature), so the theme is a bit tiring. But I like the mix of characters and their problems. _________________

While we're on the subject of dramas that sneak up on you, , , once you finish Medaka you might want to try News no Onna. It's about 10 years old, has the wonderful Honami Suzuki. I remember watching the first couple episodes, they were o.k., then all of a sudden I'm sitting there thinking, "When did this get so good?!!?"

Thanks for that. It was on a best of list, I watched a bit of the first episode then dropped it. Will try again then.
Koi no Chikara episode 6. Fukatsu Eri is such a good actress. She doesn't look particularly cute or attractive normally, but she is really adorable in this. The work/office parts felt a bit naive sometimes, but they make it fun and enjoyable. And there are a couple of moments of surprising depth in the script too, so it's not a total lightweight.

Cool! Enjoy! The real treat in this one is Kyozo Nagatsuka as Honami's lawyer/friend. He's worth the price of admission all by himself!

Thanks for the heads up! He's currently in this year's Taiga Atus Hime although I spent about three episodes scratching my head thinking, "Where have I seen that guy before??" Boy, when they dress in those period costumes it can drive you nuts sometimes.

Right now I am watching "Stand Up!". It is really funny. I like it alot. I am, also, watching "Absolute Boyfriend", but the series is still going, so I watch each episode as it comes out.
