You know, I've read the manga up to the most current chapter, but I have yet to watch the entire drama. Almost everyone that has written a review for it has loved it. Perhaps I should do a mini-marathon of the sort tomorrow...

I really wished the extras had delved more into the making of the series: I was extremely curious about how they staged some of those stunts...

Gimme more extras...!!!!!

But then.. with Nodame, it's almost a matter of more is always better.

We actually need to use the time machine in STMB to go back and film it with them

Though, judging by some of the behind the scenes footage (like from the sequence along the river with the stealthy hug), it was really freakin' cold when they were filming. so maybe i'll just enjoy the pretty pictures and make up anything I don't know about it.

As far as the action shots... I'm sure it was filmed at a higher frame rate and she basically jumped onto a cushion from the side.. but they did a great job with the timing (and you can see it way better in that still stot)

The facial expression is priceless - she can stick her tongue out at me any time.

In the red sweater shot, she leaped from a small trampoline onto a cushion...

And as you can see from the slow-mo, Juri-chan was sorta smiling/laughing during her flight...

Did you notice she "Nodame'd" it up at the end? The first part was much more Juri, but the second part she really got into the Nodame persona.

She is just too cute.

Most of that stuff is from the Special disc from the box set... There's no scene of Juri-chan jumping off of that trampoline: only her stunt double doing the rollover and bonk on the rock...
