Haha.. I find that absolutely every time I watch that bit, I tear up... I actually started choking up just commenting on it before!

I think the ending was superb n make it a greater drama. If it's not end that way, it won't be that great, that's what I thought.

Wow, you must be really sensitive...

I only cried when I watched it the first time, and then after that it was a lump in the throat... but only when I watch the actual scene. And even then I have to watch proceeding scenes to get in the mood.

It's true.. for a guy I'm really emotional (at least in some ways - I allow myself to empathize a lot). However, I have the ability to distance myself from emotion and confront the most emotionally painful situation with steel resolve and cold detached reason. So, I think when I cry during emotional dramas it's more to do with permitting myself that vulnerability and establishing a balance. I'm emotional where I know I can be so and not where I think there is something at stake (I think my exs all hated the fact I never yelled at them - they thought I was kinda inhuman and could confront the most terrible things they could say to me with an attempt to understand why they feel that way, rather than the hurt they wanted to impose)

I discussed it with Beem in another thread somewhere - about how I see being emphathetic as way to extend my personal experience. With such short lives, we can only experience so much and much of what we do in our lives are attempts to expand and diversify that set of experiences (ie. gain money or power). For me, expanding that experience is very important and I try do it many ways:- I try to understand other peoples' situations not only from a cognative perspective, but as much of an emotional one as I can muster. In a sense, I actually want to step into their shoes to feel what they feel, knowing that it is unlikely that I will ever personally experience exactly that emotional situation.

Sugoi, you really put some thought in to this! My philosophy is just to be natural. Go freely with your emotions when the cause arises only if your body is telling you to. I can't control what I feel when I feel it. I just go with it when it comes.

Ah~ there are a few nice endings.. In general I like happy endings better ;; (no matter how forced xD!)

1. Tatta Hitotsu no Koi - after several hints of the tragical and sad love of his life, i was really relieved when it had a happy ending.

2. Proposal Daisakusen - The ending I was hoping for..and not an all-too-cheesy scene in the church, which i was grateful for xD

3. Nodame Cantabile - the end of the series as well as the special episodes ^-^.. mah.. i loved everything about that drama <3

4. Orange Days ... agree with the others here.. I just loved the ending ;;

Bara no nai Hanaya was also really nice...When he cried because he finally allowed himself to be happy ;__; aww...
