PGSM was my first drama...
I found the DVDs cori sent me over a year ago of Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi and have decided to give the series another try. I'm still not liking it. The Miwa actress is so bad and ugly but she's supposed to be beautiful. And these subs are actually not as bad as I remember them, but maybe that's because I've seen much worse since then. Will I be able to watch till the end? Maybe if I watch it just a tiny bit at a time. _________________

I liked that drama, but that Miwa girl sucked. What was her name in the subs? I remember it being different from what they said. Did you get to the "do??" scene yet? I want to find out which episode it was so I can watch it again to get a good laugh.
On topic: Watched the 4th episode of Joudan ja nai last night. I really wish I could kill all of the actors in this because it's awful! Or maybe just the screenwriter. All of these actors deserve better and it's such a shame because they're talented otherwise, but just made an awful mistake by signing up for this pathetic, mind-numbingly boring show. I wish I didn't have to record this for someone.. _________________
Hey, Wynter!...think we can get Geezer to watch PGSM??!!
LOL! Depends on how much alcohol we can get him to consume.

California Dreaming. I did not realize this is such a dark drama. So reluctantly I will lay it aside never to watch again. I say reluctantly since it stars among others Kuninaka Ryoko.... but even Ryoko chan cannot get me to watch something so depressing. sad sad sad.
Gomennasai! I didn't know!
On Topic: I'm on episode 9 now of Sweet Home. Last night I just couldn't stop watching. It's no longer a drama about over zealous parents trying to get their kids into the best school. It's about the home dynamic and the comings and goings of real-life crap being swung into the faces of the unsuspecting. Great stuff. _________________

If you just asked, I coulda burned you a copy and saved you the hassle.
Not your fault Wyn chan. I have been looking for this drama(California Dreaming) for over a year so I'm glad it's out of the way and I can stop searching for it and thinking I'm missing a Kuninaka Ryoko viewing. A small forgiveable mistep on Ryoko chan's part that she more than made up for in Kekkon Dekinai Otoko.

I had asked for Nodame SP, and I never got it. :shamfulcry:

Just for the fun of it, watched ep 6 of Mop Girl without subs. Seems like they're following the pattern of Jikou Keisatsu and they've cranked up the goofiness a lot more with this episode. Either that or my Japanese comprehension is really bad. Now I'm debating if I should press on with this rest of this or watch something else waiting for it to get subbed.
Hehe.. I think it was one you recommended, if I remember correctly. Just finished ep. 2. I am definitely enjoying it so far
I can't for the life of me remember why I decided to watch this drama with SMAP guy as the star, but I'm glad I did... I think it's a perfect role for him.
