Ouch.. that's too bad - sounds like that one was a loser altogether, eh? What a waste of Juri airtime!

You just need to use the fast forward button frequently just to get to the Juri-chan parts... You'll cover the entire 11 episodes in no time.

I had asked for Nodame SP, and I never got it.

Ditto that. Sweat But I'm not in any rush to watch this anyway. Bleah

To be fair, EVERYONE sucked in that awful drama. A warning to everyone: stay clear away from that drama.

You're not kidding. Iirc, she wasn't even in an entire episode, with the exception of a few minutes. That meant that there was a lot of Oda Yuji and Ohtake Shinobu scenes. bleh bleh

On topic: Sorry, I'm not watching any jdramas atm, so I'm totally off-topic with this post. Shameful Cry

Finished Sweet Home. This drama is definitely getting a vote from me, which I find surprisingly because I wasn't completely enthusiastic about watching it in the first place. A great drama knows how to change one's mind. I'll write a review this evening.

For now, I'm starting the highly recommended 101st Proposal.

I can understand why you're not in a rush since your backlog is something like two years worth of dramas... Sweat

You will enjoy Last Christmas if you like comedy romance. This is a wonderful charming drama that I've watched several times already. I did not know either of the leads before this so I was able to watch it for it's own sake without preconceived bias to either one. Consequently I found them both very apt in their interpretations of their roles.

My words and experience exactly. Victory! Peace!

On Topic: I started watching 101 Proposals and I can tell I'm gonna enjoy it. Usually when I go into a drama blind (tho this one was highly recommended) it takes an epi or two to hook me, but when a drama hooks me from the first epi, I KNOW I'll love it. The hook in this case is Takeda Tetsuya. I'm absolutely in love with his character and I wish I could just take him home and gobble him up. Smitten

Just finished Ep. 5 of Koi ni Ochitara. I'm totally digging it! It's so much fun and so sweet. It's got the GTO: "I'll win you over, no matter what" thing going on.

Oh, and Kaori is positively adorable! Shimao is so sweet too. Fun show!

Sweet home is really old, right? I looked for torrents but really didn't come up with any. It's like from '96?

1994. I wouldn't call it "really old" but it's an older drama. And like a good wine, they seem to get better with age.

shin2 has turned me on to the older dramas. They're so much better in terms of story and talent. Hands down.

Speaking of older dramas, I'm on epi 5 now of 101 Marriage Proposals and I have some mixed feelings about it. I really liked the first episode, but by the third I found the plot too repetitive. Guy acts dumb. Girl misinterprets. Girl acts mean. Guy clears misunderstanding. Guy gains sympathy. Girl apologies. Next epi, same thing all over again.

I'm also not completely convinced yet by the characters. The feelings don't seem genuine enough.

But I live the premise, and I enjoy the actors/actresses, so I'm sticking with it. I'm on the fence, tho I must say, epi 4 finally made me smile and inspired new hope.

Yeah, I really don't have anything against older dramas - though I miss the color, sound, and video quality of the new ones.. they tend to be a little more meaty than what I've seen of the current batch.

Any idea where I might be able to get Sweet House?

I can send it to you. Just PM me. Smile

On Topic: I'm on epi 6 of 101 Proposals... and I'm starting to get bored.

I'm a couple of episodes into Joshi Deka

http://jdorama.com/drama.1210.htm

Sometimes lunch is a grand feast, at a good restaurant, surrounded by friends.

Sometimes it's a burger and fries slammed down as you drive to the next job site.

"Joshi Deka" is a burger and fries sort of series.

Watching "Boku dake no Madonna"
It's kinda sweet, and I like him a lot ... whereas she is this typical emancipated but in reality weak and sweet girl ... I don't mind that but I'm getting tired of these kind of stories.
Nevertheless it's really cute... ^^

I tend to try out alot of different series, but right now the two that I'm actually sticking with, and watching are Rolling Love, and Hana Kimi Taiwan.

So far, Hana Kimi Japan was better, though... nn;

Suggestion for your next dorama:

Kita no Kuni Kara.

1981 family-based series.

An excellent oldie-but-a-goodie.

Try it; you'll like it.

If you want a radical change try Haru To Natsu. You will not believe the totally different role of Shibata san. Fumiya kun also has a small part in it.
