YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Because you tell me not too, I will watch it.

Not a cooking show. It's Tokio's (band) show Mentore G. The "cooking" you're referring to is the restaurant segment of the show. Anyway, I was flipping channels between this and Ryokiteki na Kanojo. I did catch Masami's impersonation of Kenshiro (Hokuto no Ken). "WA TA TA TA TA TA.....!!!" Yeah

Looks like Seri's subs for Ep. 8 are up now too:

After watching Suki's for ep. 6, I think I found my preference Smile

Finished Ep. 8 today.. thanks for the subs, Seri!

All in all, one of the better episodes in my opinion. Still terribly melodramatic - you'd think we were watching Days of Our Lives or something like that.

I was very glad to see Eri belt out some actual thinking and reflection. I'm still rooting for her.

Ugh it the propensity for characters to shrug off talking about things and laughing them off is a very tired drama cliche and frustrates me to no end (not because of the admittedly forced outcome, but because the rhetoric is so tired).

8 is definitely better than 7 and one of the better ones, in my opinion. I only had a couple "ugh.. they did that again" moments this time. Beat You

It was, yet I wasn't bugged too much by it...

Again, I agree... Apparently it's the nature of the beast.

If there was actual communication and no misunderstanding, the drama would've been only like five or six episodes at best... Beaten

Episode 8 did offer a little more insight into Eri, but she's still much of a question mark... And Ogurin? The dude's a wuss.

Yea, that's the biggest issue for me in that, if they hadn't exposed the whole fact that there is Domestic Violence between Sousuke and Michiru, the whole idea of police involvement (or lack thereof) would make much more sense, and could be justified in that "the victim doesn't know any better".

HOWEVER, when you throw in easily 4-5 more people who are fully aware of the situation, that's when it gets out of hand to say the very least. Imaginations have to be stretched to the limit to believe that nobody would ever consider taking it past their own personal honor to protect their friend.

Hmm, didn't I say something to that effect way, way back regarding the authorities? Maybe not as adroitly as you put it, but the gist was still there... Like you said maybe in the LF world, the authorities and common sense among a group of young adults in Japan doesn't exist, despite tackling suck real-world issues as GID and DV... Sweat

Gomen, I don't really remember. I'm sure I usually end up repeating points that have already been made since I usually don't read comments too far back before posting myself. Sweat Lets just say I babble on about stuff that's already been brought up at times Beaten
